I booked bun kao guesthouse because of the good reviews here on tripadvisor. Unfortunately my room wasn't clean, especially the bathroom. The WiFi only works in the hallway or downstairs. My laundry came back still dirty. When I noticed this, I told the girl at the reception but she said she couldn't do anything about it because it was rainy...

Room are nice and normally clean. Also A/C. The owners are very nice and polite. It s a pleasure to be around them. For 2$ you also can have a good breakfast. It is a very good option to stop in Siam Reap.

Not only a great guesthouse, 15 min relax walk to the shops and restaurants area or $2 tuk tuk ride, mr.k and his family go definitely out of their way to make you feel like you are one more of their family, incredible heart warming experience to stay here, they invited me to go with them to a local school...

An excellent value for money guest house that is located a 2 minute walk from Highway 6. It is a family owned guest house that is clean & ideal for a stay to visit Angkor Wat & the floating village. Food available & plenty of other food places/bars within walking distance. Situated well away from the noisy areas

I have visited and stayed in a lot of hotels and guest houses. The staff here are right at the top when it comes to hospitality. The location is also nice and serene - Siem Reap's Pub street is not too far off and also, it takes hardly 20-25 minutes to reach Angkor Wat by cab to watch the sunrise....

My first time in Cambodia was made more special by the warmth and hospitality shown by the owner, Mr. Bun Kao and the rest of the staff. I definitely recommend this place for budget travelers. I love that they have free wifi, free coffee and free water. For my next trip to Siem Reap, I will surely stay here again.

The staff here are some of the best I've come across. Prompt replies to my emails and free pick up from the bus station were a great start. They also helped me plan my 3 days at Angkor, recommending what times of day were better for certain temples, which was pretty spot on. They always had a smile, always said...
