This is a classic hotel, with lovely entry hall, lounge, and bar. There is a pianist who plays in the cocktail hour in the fabulous lounge and new arrivals are given a refreshing beverage as they check in. The staff, dressed in traditional attire, is wonderful, and makes every effort to greet each patron by name. We did not eat...

We recently stayed at Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor while visiting Angkor Wat. We could not have a chosen a better place to stay for the weekend. The pool is beautiful, and a perfect place to relax after temple visits. The rooms were luxurious and had everything one could need. The staff was so responsive to any need we had, and...

We pick Raffles Grand Hotel's d'Angkor due to the following reasons: an elegant cage elevator adorns the lobby, Art Deco black-and-white tiled and once the home of royalty. All of these inspired points add up to our plan to visit Angkor Wat easily and never been disappointed with the beauty of Khmer history. The hotel located in the heart of...

Great location for this Apsara dance performace on the grounds of the famous and iconic Raffles Hotel. The Raffles Hotel basically just across the Kings residence (when in Siem Reap). The dance performance was great but a little bit short. The Buffet fodd with its numerous station (including live cooking staions) was delighful. Overall a great expereince.

We recently enjoyed an evening at the Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor. Dinner and a native dance performance were the highlights of the evening. The large covered outdoor dining/viewing area assured a great evening rain or shine. The varied buffet was extraordinary with very good service. The comprehensive dance routine also included an interesting native fight sequence. Beautiful setting.

Have had the pleasure of staying here on three separate occasions -- and every time was quite outstanding. Love the old colonial ambience, the excellent dining, the wonderful pool -- and especially the cultural show in the gardens.

This hotel is a class act, and a difficult one to follow. The location is ideal in the center of town, and the hotel radiates the magnificence of a bygone era. Set across from the Royal Palace, is one of the landmark historic hotels of the legendary Grand Tour of Indochina. Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor first opened its doors in 1932 but the legend lives on today after careful restoration. The hotel is rich in Cambodia history and full of original treasures, right down to the original working cage elevator in the lobby. Our doorman still welcomes everyone in a uniform inspired by the Royal Palace With the privilege of over 15 acres of beautifully landscaped French gardens and built around the country’s largest swimming pool, the hotel is a peaceful oasis to which to retreat after exploring the temples in the UNESCO World Heritage site only 10 minutes from the hotel. Stroll along the river to the vibrant markets and wonderful array of dining options. In addition to beautifully restored guest rooms you can choose from one of the luxury suites, including our most popular Cabana Suites with direct access from the balcony to the garden and pool. You may be surprised to know that Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor also has two of Siem Reap’s most luxurious two-bedroom Villas, providing utmost privacy and personal butler service in the private poolside setting. Food gourmets will delight with a variety of options including the popular Raffles Afternoon Tea and the Apsara Terrace, Siem Reap’s best cultural dance performance and dinner in the poolside gardens.
