Our friends stayed here 4 years ago and recomended the place but it was disappointing. SEems the staff totally changed and they are not interested into clients at all. You have to fish for all the information and the breakfast is not existing anymore even they still have it on their sign. They also don't take care of the premises... More

Really liked this one, they have rabbits in the yard which are fun to see. And if you wake up early enough you get a nice simple breakfast. Rooms are spacious and air con was great, good location too :) I do think the rooms may be a bit haunted though, had a few funny things happen. It was a... More

rooms were priced at $8 w/o aircon. I liked that there was no one to bother you to sell you their tour or tuktuk. the kitchen area didn't look great at all. it was a bit noisy at night from the nearby bars. threadbare curtains and not so great bathroom. the only plus is that they don't bother you and... well i booked a room ahead of time. but when i arrived they said no rooms availiable in the main hotel building (which were the nicer rooms). so they sent me to a single level rear building room. a real dump and no ac! but it was very late and i was tired so no choice. and then the next... More

Cheaper than anywhere in that area. New owners havent been running it for very long. Cleaned up the backyard for a rabbit enclosure. Fine for the price (7$ for twin room). Expect nothing great roomwise, it's very basic, but the staff are very friendly, bicycles, instant coffee for free, breakfast too. And the bunnies are definitely cute.

The Red Lodge is a little run down but you can see that it must have been really great in the past. The bedrooms are comfortable and it's pretty easy to get to the night market which is a great place to go in the evening. What we loved about this place were the owners who were very friendly and... Large rooms, large beds. Bathrooms are ok but what you expect from the price. Staff fairly helpful although weren't able to tell me how to turn on air con. Really good location been down a little side road just a stones throw from town, which meant it was very quiet but walkable. Unbelievable value at only $6 per night!

We had read that this place was really good, but we were told at our arrival that the changed the staff about one year ago and it had lost its charm. It's a nice and quite place to stay, nera the center but in a ver quite peacefull place. But the place was not very clean, and the famous "free"... More
