This is my second time to stay at the Ibis @ Xiamen. Last time everything seemed very good, the location was good, staffs were friendly and the food around the hotel were good too. But not this time. We went there just after the typhoon in September, 2016. People there told us that that was a very big storm with...

This is the worst Ibis i ever stayed! The non-smoking room smell of cigarettes, the pillow cases & sheet were smelly & yellow in color. Requested the housekeeper to change but she claimed that the hotel rule is to change once every 3 days….  The only plus point is the location, less than 5 mins walk to Xiamen train...

This is a budget hotel where budget means cheap. I stay at Ibis regularly, but this one falls out of the line. The staff is friendly, but untrained, which leads to many insufficiences. But positive points first: the location close to the main train station and the BRT lines as well as many buses is great. The back rooms see...

Great location as Xiamen station is just a 5 min walk away and shopping malls are right in front of the hotel. Most of front staff speak English throughout a day even at night. The room is very simple and small and maintained clean, but wall and ceiling are a bit dirty. Wifi is free but I had a problem...

The hotel is well situated in the city...close to Xiamen Railway Station. The room was nice, and had everything required. This is a "value hotel", so dont expect "five star emenities". I would utilise this hotel again...freindly staf, with good service, and in the area i wanted to be in!!

Excellent location, it's so near to the new railway station. 10 minutes slow walk. Right in the street full of shopping malls, eateries, cafes and restaurants. Negatives :- 1) It's very different from the rest of the IBIS I stayed. 2) fault in the design of the toilet in the room. Once water escape out from shower area, the basin...

firstly. the picture of the hotel, on the booking page, is extremely deceiving. The room has been one very bad, and the staff was extreme inflexible and not helpful. And yet. I have not even got my point credited. And people are smoking on the corridor and even in the lift. You really must be kidding me.

Spent 2 nights there recently in January 2016. Friendly staff but straggling with English or any other European languages. I have been in 3 others Ibis hotels in Europe, London, Paris and Barcelona. There is huge different between European in Chinese ibis hotels. The rooms were not as cleaner than Europe and the breakfast awful and very simple. If I...

Very cheap hotel with decent rooms. Stayed for a night and the area was easy for us to grab a cab and head to the city for food. Front desk staff were also friendly and helpful. Helped to recommend places to go and way to get around xiamen.

Situated next to the Xiamen railway station, but it was not the most happening part of the city. The area around the hotel is dull and dirty, and there were always two homeless persons lingering around the main entrance during night time. The room at the hotel was small, dusty and dark - and definitely requires some refurbishment. The wall...
