its very good hotel but a little dated, its needs to be refurbished. its has few lovely restaurants and lovely swimming pool. its very centrally located. Has very large rooms and friendly staff. Language is a problem and satellite channels have only one English channel.

Large hotel, staff speak English and canto. Spacious room and the triple share we had, had a king bed in a separate room to the twin beds. We had two separate toilets which was convenient. Housekeeping was good, fresh fruit daily I liked. Yumcha for bfast and foyer comfortable with seating. Clean rooms, safe area with supermarket across the road....

This being my first trip to China for business I went with a couple of more experienced guys to ease into things. I had looked at the trip advisor for this place and didn't think to much of it. However, when I got into the room I was pleasantly surprised. Big shower, big bath and a western style toilet. Nice...

Returned to this hotel after a year. Everything is still the same. Hotel had done a good job maintaining their room facilities. Everything is in working order. That said, some renewal is long overdue. There are stains and burnt marks on the carpet. The wall paper is starting to peel off. On the CRT TV, is a word 'Nicam'. This...

If you are used to international Hotels with international breakfast style your might be disappointed. This huge Hotel is really meant more for Chinese than for foreigners, however it has much to offer. Rooms are more than adequate, and spacious. The entrance and the lobby area are strange and make you think about a shopping mall rather than a Hotel....

This may be slightly out of the main downtown area, but its value for money, suites for half the price of a standard room in an international class hotel. The staff are obliging, from restaurants to reception. I checked out in the morning, had some problem with transport and return to the hotel for a three hours wait. I took...

Revisited this hotel after nine years. I am surprised the room's interior deco has not changed a bit. It is exactly like 2004 - bed, chairs, cupboards, CRT TV, shower, The hotel has done a good job maintaining the furniture/fixture from the outside. The cupboard's doors were replaced/refurbished. It looks new on the outside but they lack a layer of...

I spend several nights a month in China and this is one of the better hotels. There used to be two big fish tanks but now there is only one but it is still fascinating to watch the turtles. There is an ATM in the lobby that accepts Visa cards which is good for foreign tourists. The three restaurants are...

For those who come to china a lot, you'll know that hotel stars ratings in china are very tricky. Most of the time, a 5 star equals a 4 star in international standards. Anyhow, this hotel can be great or it can be mediocre, you just have to know the trick. The rooms on the lower floors are cheaper and...

I do not know about the other reviewers, but I thought this hotel was awful! The room was rubbish, as for the bed I think the floor would have been more comfortable. After being taken out for dinner, and arriving back at 9.30pm we could not find a bar open in the hotel. I certainly will not be staying there...
