Good hotel, though rooms not that spacious.. Buffet breakfast is combined with International Hotel in another building...takes lot if time to travel to the other building... Rooms in the Other building

The large marble-clad reception is certainly impressive and well-photographed by guests and locals alike; it wouldn't look out of place in an older Dubai hotel. But as with so much in the region, if you look beneath the marble surface, it doesn't quite work as well as it should. The large room and en-suite are nice with perhaps a hint of once being a smoking room. Cupboard lights don't work (sometimes). No English TV channel. Electric door locks sometimes don't open first or second time. But you must also remember that the Yucca is generally a much nicer place to stay than other nearby hotels and I would have no problem staying here again.

I, personally, haven't had a bad experience at this hotel. I always confirm my reservation with the concierge, Anson. He is always there and doesn't give you the runaround. He'll make sure the taxis don't overcharge you, and makes you feel at home. The breakfast is not good, but there's plenty of options within walking distance. For any westerners, there's a coffee shop in the building, you just need to walk out of the hotel. In guzhen, there aren't many options, but this is the best in my opinion

Because of the mall it is not clear what belongs to the hotel or not. Room was big and a bit outdated. Breakfast was bad. But maybe for Chinese people it is aceptable. The western food was not good. Unfriendly staff

International Hotel is one of the decent options in Gu Zhen with spacious and clean rooms. The reception is cold as elsewhere, but I don't resent that since English is a challenge and they are not rude. The prices are very high during the season (LED Fairs) but otherwise you can expect a good discount. I did not have breakfast nor any meals in the hotel since authentic Chinese does not suit my palate.

This hotel is passable for a business stay but it's definitely past it's best. It's ageing and it seems the owners are simply letting it go. Breakfast is poor and when I stayed the toaster didn't work. There are some decent restaurants in the hotel such as a Chinese restaurant with food from each province and a Korean restaurant. My advice however would be to stay at the Lighting Era Hotel across the street. It's owned by the same company and is newer and better maintained.

This is the worst hotel I have stayed at in china. Hotel attitude was very poor, buffet breakfast was terrible. This is the oldest hotel in ghuzen and you can certainly see it. The room also had a bad odour. I ended up moving to a hotel next door and paid 1/3 of the price for a hotel which was more than 10 times better.

Was not expecting much, and certainly didn't get it. Decor was hideous, but more importantly, beaten up, broken and dirty. For a modern city, the bedroom furniture looked like grandma's house. Bathroom was small, dark and gross. For a city. That is famous for lighting fixtures, having a broken chandelier in he lobby is inexcusable. Not to mention the ugly fixtures in the dark bedrooms. Central location is the only thing this dump has going for it.

Ok so I use this hotel for work, and have stayed a few times, its a massive hotel with a shopping mall attached, the mall has a supermarket and some nice restaurants, in particular the Thai restaurant. The rooms are spacious and clean enough, the carpets are a bit tired, but nothing to bad, it has free internet in the room and decent english channels on TV. The rates are reasonable and the staff friendly enough, the only problem is some staff dont speak english well which can be frustrating when ordering room service etc. Overall a good hotel for business travellers and not far from all the lighting factories. KFC downstairs for those that have a soft spot for western food. Only thing is the breakfast is average however you get this all over hotels in china...its not bad just not great.…
