We booked the Hainan Airlines International Hotel via Ctrip to be close to Haikou People's Park in central Hainan. The taxi driver had a hard time finding it and finally dumped us at the back door of some hotel of a different name which was a tiny bit unsettling. However it turned out to be the correct hotel its just...

We picked this hotel as we wanted to be near "old" Hainan and convenient to Haikou East railway station where we arrived and closer to the airport where we would leave. Finding it can be tricky as the name seems to be changing. It is HNA Business hotel with no reference to HaiNan Airlines other than the initials. Sort of...

Went with a family of 8, booked this hotel thru a booking site online. Hotel is rather dated, and the rooms lobby smells of cigarettes smoke. My room felt damped with mouldy smell. I have a room with 2 super single beds, the bed was rather hard and pillows too soft though they did gave us slightly harder pillows upon...

Rooms are simple. It's clean, however room furniture, toilets and closets are all very dated. Very dim room and should have more lights. Or at least at least a powerful bright standing lamp to light up the room. Location not too bad, directly across the road is a wet market and hawker stalls. Never tried the breakfast. Lobby area is...

Huge room with sofas. Bed a bit hard so not that comfy but it would depends on individual preference i guess. One thing great about this hotel amongst the other hotels in china that i have stayed in is availability of an iron n board!!!! Well most of the men here (i guess again) do not "believe" in having a...

This is a good Chinese hotel and good value for money. I paid less than 400 CNY for a one bed room suite with kitchen, and the room comes with a PC and free internet. Free internet is the norm in Chinese hotels, unlike western hotels that charges unreasonable amounts. The hotel is located in a bustling area with many...

Large room, queen bed, extra sofa and 2 chairs. Tea/coffee making facilities, free internet. Room we had faced the street with great view to what was happening below. No noise from the street. Hotel had large buffet breakfast area with great selection of local food and another area with western style food, but why eat that, eat like a local....

The corridor to the rooms is bright and clean with a spacious lobby. The rooms and toilets are very spacious and clean, 2 big single beds and well equip with 4-star standard. Everything in the rooms are good except the stained carpet. We were provided with only 1 breakfast voucher for each room, so my partner had to pay CNY...

Wow.....!!!!!!!!!!! We happened to find this hotel by accident....in China, you can call "114" for "Information" just like calling "411" in the USA. The operator said this hotel had a very good rating and we happened to be directly passing it in the taxi when we received the information. The hotel has a 4-Star rating but in our review of...

On some website this hotel is known as Haikou International Commercial Centre. It is owned by Hainan Airlines and it has a counter at the hotel. Maybe the building next to it use this name. It is on 38 Datong Road. Do not mistake it for Haikou International Financial Hotel which is behind on 29 Datong Road. As the website...
