Chengdu was my least favourite city I visited in China, but this was a fantastic hostel, certainly up there with the best in China! I stayed in a 4 bedroom mixed dorm ensuite, and it was very clean. It was decent lodgings for the rate I paid and whilst the bathroom door was a tad difficult to close properly every... More

The hostel is in a good location, just 50 meters from the metro. The staff is friendly, helpful and english speaking. We stayed in a double room in the 4th floor (no elevators) and we didn't like too much because the bathroom were smelling very bad and there was water coming out of the WC when we flushed. There is... More

One of the top hostels we have stayed in. I think China is in some parts still getting its head around how hostels work but these guys have it perfectly! The chill out area is really nice and I fell in love with the little kitten. The staff are all very helpful too and the room was nice with curtains... More

The stuff is friendly and helpful. Can organize almost everything. The kitchen (breakfast, dinner) is average. On the reception someone speaks english, but any... More

Double room on the 3rd floor (2016): + helpful and good english speaking staff - bathroom was dirty and broken in several ways (missing tile with mud in it, broken toilet seat, holes) - water spots in the bedroom - most of the power points does not operate properly Yes it is " just" a hostel, but from my point... The rooms are cozy and clean. The hostel’s dining area is very pleasant and the food is tasty and the price very nice. There are many available tours on the hostel, some of them for free and others for a very acceptable price. You can spent a week at this hostel and have different things to do almost everyday.

We did stay 3 nights in this hotel and did enjoy our stay. It was clean hotel, good vibe. The staff was very kind and really helpfull. The only thing is the location of the hotel. Far from the centre and the Subway.

We stayed in Lazybones in Chengdu for 4 nights and wish we would have left after the first. The location is not so great (but there is a great Hot Pot restaurant nearby), the beds were hard and appeared dirty, the AC didn't work well, and the lobby smelled like cat and sweat. We heard the Poshpackers hostel nearby was... More
