The luxury hotel and residences are designed by UK-based architects, Make Architects with restaurants by AvroKO. Its earthy, contemporary style and personalised service help this hotel provide a unique experience for its guests. The hotel offers 100 guestrooms and an additional 42 adjoining serviced apartments known as Residences, which are essentially long-stay rooms with kitchen and laundry facilities. The guestrooms and suites will be separated from the residences by way of the 2nd exquisitely designed L-shaped column which frames the inner courtyards of the property. I had my our recent stay at temple house for 3 nights in mid-Nov. It was a pleasure experience indeed From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and help with the luggage pick up. The check-in process was smooth, and Bell Troy provided a lot of assistance including to suggest restaurant nearby, helping to make a reservation The whole team were attentive, courteous, and always went above and beyond to cater to our needs. My first time in Chengdu and first time staying at one of the House series hotel! Temple House has been on my list for about 3 years and I have to say they have exceeded my expectations.. incredible stay! Location: my partner and I are not much of planners but thanks to the hotel's central location in Tai Koo Li, it was sooo convenient to access wherever we want to go with the metro being right there. The famous Tai Koo Li is quite literally next door but the hotel is well hidden from the noise and crowd; amazing Chengdu cuisine ALL around the area; Daci Temple was 5-min walk away so we paid respects there as well. Anyways.. super central location! Design: from the historical hotel facade to the beautiful garden, from polished facilities to geometric decorations, they did a great job marrying the traditional Chinese design with contemporary elements. I'm not well versed in architecture or design language but the biggest thing for us is just.. it feels so peaceful wherever we are in the hotel. Room: beautiful and spacious room, very well kept. They had welcome snacks for us with a hand-written note, very grateful! Service: not only did the staff deliver exceptional service as you would expect from a 5-star hotel, everyone I've encountered feels genuine, real, and authentic.. which really stands out from other luxury hotels. We left our hearts in Chengdu with the adorable Pandas especially Yuan Yuan and the Temple House where we spent 5 nights during our recent first visit to this lovely city. The Temple House can truly offer their guests a home away from home experience. From the cozy and comfortable suite, the delicious meals at the Temple Café, Tivano and Mi Xun Teahouse, to all the staff members we met, especially Kylie, Troy, Ava, Danna, Yannick, Chef Tony, Chef Jerome and Chef Yang, we miss everything about the hotel! We must particularly compliment Troy (Guest Experience Manager) who demonstrated what first class guest service was like. He is absolutely professional, thoughtful and caring by helping us to map out our itinerary and offering the best recommendations (reminders too) via text messages while we were on the road and even when he was off duty, as if we had a local friend guiding us around. We had a fantastic stay at the Temple House. The room is very big and with all the furniture needed for extended stays. We particularly enjoyed the view of the shopping area! The breakfast at the Temple Cafe has a large selection in the buffet and also the option to choose freshly made dishes such as dumplings or eggs Benedict. There is also a very cosy bar Jing with a comfortable atmosphere and a large selection of drinks and delicious cocktails. The personnel is also very good and will go above and beyond to help make your stay as good as possible. (They helped us mail a package, gave very good recommendations as to where to go visit and eat, and even brought dishwasher product to the room) I would really recommend this place if you stay in Chengdu.

We had simply the best experience in Chengdu thanks to Kylie, Dylan, Liby Liraca, Kya and all the team. They had taken great care of us by helping us plan our daily tours and trips, and surprised us everyday with most thoughtful gifts and delicious snacks. The room is impeccable with great views and beautiful decors. Everything is delicious at breakfast especially the Sichuan specialties, and to our surprise, very good cheese selection. We have tried Jing bar, very cozy and convivial. The mushroom hot pot at Tea House is the best and service is superb. Gym and pool well equipped and beautiful. Great location too. cannot wait to come back
