Nice: my room was large, like a small suite. Bed was large and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very nice, with a smiling little chef cooking eggs, rice and beans, special fries in front of you. Wifi ok. Could be better: sometimes difficult to get warm water for a shower. In my friend's room, it was...

I have stayed at the MS Hotel in Centenario on several occasions. The hotel is located across the street from the Centenario Mall. The Mall contains several restaurants, a movie theater, coffee shops, and various stores for shopping. The basement level contains "La 14" grocery store. The hotel is location in a pleasant neighborhood with a nearby Catholic Church, and...

Upon check in I was surprised that this hotel reached a four-star rating. Elevator was out from the first floor to the 2nd, there was a general unkempt appearance in an office that was more suited for a parking garage than a lobby. The in-room safe did not work and there was a general no-frills appearance to the rooms. On...

Good value for business and well located. The 5ht floor as super noisy starting at 6am with the breakfast room and housekeeping. Very spacious room but intermittent hot water in the shower. Decent wifi and a comfortable bed.

I had the great pleasure of spending 5 nights at the Hotel MS in November. I would give a 5 star for everything. From the moment I arrived, there were pleasant and attentive staff. Each morning as I would step off the elevator I was always greeted with a grand smile and a warm welcome from any member of the...

Cali is a loud city by day. This hotel is centrally located with excellent nearby dining. Los Platillos across the street and El Turco next door are among the best in town. The room was large and sparsely furnished. The bathroom was clean with a glass shower and ridiculous multi head thing. Scratchy towels and as usual in latin america...

We paid 50 usd for a double twin room with breakfast. Breakfast was fine, the room was big, everything was just fine. Maybe the cleaning could be improved in the rooms. They were not dirty, but they were not spotless clean. Also, the towels are horrible, too rough on your skin. Other than that, perfectly acceptable. I would come back...

....a pretty nice place especially if you will be out and around the city a lot. The room has plenty of space and was very clean. The large window is nice for the view of the surrounding city area. The room could use some decor and color but gets the job done for a comfortable place to stay. The breakfast...

This is a nice mid-range hotel. I stayed here a week at this hotel and everything was very good during my first stay in Cali. I have been to many different places and hotels in colombia and this one is a hidden gem. It is in a very safe location and located across the street from Centenario Plaza, a nice...

“Get a room facing away from the street and not on the 5th floor near the restaurant or housekeeping. They start at 6am!”

“There is a taxi stand right down the street close to some mini-markets. Buy your snacks/food/water from other than hotel mini-bar. If you will be returning to Colombia several times and will need to make phone calls, it is so much cheaper and convenient to buy a prepaid cell phone from a company like (Movistar or Tigo). (Buy phone from a grocery store or even from your country and have Movistar or Tigo insert a SIM card (chip) for you. Calls this way are so cheap. You can add about 5 favorite numbers for a very cheap rate to those particular numbers. I pay about 5 cents a minute and paid about $45 for the cell phone. Phone calls from any hotel will cost a fortune. Get a prepaid credit card from american express to make withdrawals from ATM (like bancolombia). They do not charge forein transaction fees. You can also use your discover credit card at some restaurants ("diners club) without paying a cent for foreign transaction fees. Most visa and mastercard credit cards and debit cards do charge a FTF for any usage oversees. Exchanging money from an exchange place will cost so much more in fees/exchange rate differentials etc.”
