Hola dear guest, we are very sorry to read this review, as we have a front desk , that is readily available to assist you with any special request or need. We offer a special breakfast menu to our guests with special dietary restrictions, we are trained to assit with vegan, lactose free, halal, vegetarian, celiac and gluten free diets. Regarding the shower temperature regulation, we could not assit you since you never approached the reception. We can only wish that you talked to us regarding your observations, in order to give us the opportuny to solve it promptly. We stayed here for three days for our first time in the Galapagos. Tatiana was amazing and was able to accommodate a very early check-in. The accommodations were very clean and well kept. Our room had an ocean view and air conditioning. Nice breakfast every morning on the open air patio and the staff will give you a breakfast to go in case you leave for a tour before breakfast hours. The hotel is steps away from the waterfront and all the shops, restaurants, and sea lions. There are 2 swimming pools if you want to cool off. We left laundry with them in the morning of our first day and it was ready by dinner!

Nice hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast and good location, restaurants, shops, bars and beaches in easy reach. Hundreds of sea lions very close by. Noisy dusty building work going on by the small pool was a bit annoying though. Would recommend staying here.

The minute we stepped into the open air lobby of Casa Opuntia we were greeted with the warmest welcome! It was clear that this bubbly woman loved her job and loved the Galapagos. This quaint hotel had spacious rooms (2 twins and a queen). The rooms were quiet, air conditioned and clean! The buffet breakfast of eggs, yogurt, juices, rolls and endless coffee was set up on the patio so we could enjoy the sunrise and sounds of the seal lions. This quaint hotel had easy, safe access to the main street and close to delicious restaurants. We stayed for two nights and felt safe and rested when we departed.

We stayed here for several days for our first time in the Galapagos. Tatiana was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed! The accommodations were lovely- everything was very clean and well kept. Our room had an ocean view and even a hammock on the balcony! Nice breakfast every morning and the staff will give you a breakfast to go in case you leave for a tour before breakfast hours. The staff at the front desk called the local cabs for us when we wanted to go on excursions that are only accessible by car. The hotel is steps away from all the shops, restaurants, and sea lions. I highly recommend staying here if you want to be centrally located and have the best Galapagos experience possible!

At the end of an amazing tour of Ecuador and the Galapogus this little hotel was just perfect. Welcoming , clean, complementary products in the bathroom and our first hotel with 24/7 free tea and coffee facilities in reception. We had bedroom 1 with patio doors onto a balcony with seats and a hammock overlooking the bay. Highly recommend a stay here .

We have just had four wonderful days at casa opuntia. Tatiana, all the in house and Exoticca staff were wonderful. Friendly and helpful. Tea making and cold water facilities in the lobby were an added plus for us. The breakfast area has a wonderful position overlooking the sea, enhanced by the visiting finches that shared breakfast with us. There wasn’t an awful lot of choice for breakfast but for us it was fine, the view and position fed us. The room we had was in the old sector of the hotel, ours was probably one of the least appealing rooms as we were on the ground floor at the back. This was also near where the food was prepared in the morning so could be noisy as the kitchen bustled into life ( not the staff’s fault) The bed was very clean, comfortable, spacious. For us the pillows were a little too hard. The bathroom was small, very tired and dated and oppressive ( I am a bathroom person ) The shower was not pretty but was powerful and hot, great smelling shower gel. A lovely hotel located overlooking the island’s bay. Large rooms, clean and comfortable. We had a first floor room with a balcony and view over the bay. Two small but functional pools and a 30 second walk down to the harbour and along to restaurants and bars. We were provided with a takeaway breakfast on an early departure and breakfasts were good.

This was a delightful hotel in a fantastic location, right on the seafront. The staff were excellent however breakfast was very basic and there wasn’t a lot of food to go round which was disappointing. There is a pool and a water cooler and a locked fridge that you can use during office hours. My room was on the ground floor and it had a hammock. What I particularly liked was falling asleep and waking up to the sound of sea lions. Magical! Would definitely recommend staying here - there are plenty of restaurants to have breakfast nearby if you want,

This hotel was terrific. It was rigatoni the main street so you could walk up and down anytime. Near a beach to see the sea lions. Great restaurants! The staff was so nice and acomodating! Our room had an extra room with twin beds that we didn't use. Our room overlooked the ocean. Beautiful! Breakfast, birds came to share the food! Internet was not good even in the lobby area, but not counting that it was the best. I would stay there again! Very clean! They even had drinking water that you could get 24 hours a day!!!! I highly recommend staying here! I loved it!!!!
