We stayed there for 3 nights in Adha feast in Sept 2015 . We wasn't happy at all from the experience and I guess that was the first and last time to go there . 1. Breakfast : It should be available from 7:00 till 10:00 am . It was never available on time . They start to prepare it... More

we stayed for four night as part of our diving package, arranged by dive center. No idea how much it cost us but from their website, the rate seem very reasonable for this type of accommodation. Good location, on main road, close to shopping area - 3-5 minutes walk to the beach. Our room (standard) is clean but small, not... More

We stayed at La Reine for about 5 days while diving the Red Sea. It's just around the corner from the markets and restaurants meaning you don't need a taxi to get around, but it's very quiet nevertheless. Room was cleaned every day except for one day. Overall the place is very clean compared to Cairo, staff added the extra... More

This hotel was decent. Considering you pay the same as for "motel 6" in the US. This was a deal. Cheaper hotels can be found, but without a pool and without breakfast. It was a two minute walk from the main touristy shopping street and 3 blocks to the cornish of shops and restaurants. The rooms all have a balcony... More

Arrived here on an organised tour after staying in 4 & 5 star resorts in Luxor aswan and Cairo. This is far from the standard we were promised. Blood stains on the wall from squashed mosquitos, water was leaking around the toilet, beds were filthy, cockeroaches. All other people on our tour group experienced similar problems with their rooms as... More

Built of coloured stone around a large central pool. Sweeping staircaises and large potted palms gives the place an air of opulence. Each room has it's own balcony overlooking the pool. The rooms are nicely decorated but in a state of disrepair. In our room none of the doors worked properly, the taps in the bathroom basin were broken and... More

We stayed here at Christmas 2007. The pool area and reception is nice and clean. We had a downstairs room with a balcony overlooking the pool. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. It had enough wardrobe space, a tv and fridge. The bathroom was a bit tired and had a green gloss painted door that made it... More

beautifully renovated hotel with everything you can wish for. Clean, nice rooms, friendly staff, big pool, great location. Just outside of the noisy part and therefore quiet, but only 5 minutes to walk to where the action is. Will have a new professional diving center from October. If you want to stay in Dahab, and not outside in one of... More

“To quickly get to the cornish, just go to the first right out the hotel and then when it dead ends at Shams hotel, just walk through to the cornish to avoid the touristy shops. (The locals call this hotel Laren - mispronounce the name if you need directions to get back or to tell the driver who picks you up if you fly into Sharm El Sheik.)”
