Where do I start. We got to the hotel, checked in and went to our room. Nice size, dated but first impressions was OK till I went into the bathroom, OMG!!!!! I have added pictures. I was speechless and refuse to shower in there. We did eventually get moved to a room right on the beach. Jacuzzi was broken, and there was bird poo everywhere. This can cause disease. Right I'm going to mention the food .... if you like liver in a roll for lunch then you will be fine, yes I said liver .... yuk. The food was so repetitive it was either chicken or beef. We got so fed up we even skipped meals. One night, we had just soup. There was hardly any choice, the breads where dry too. We really aren't fussy eaters but even we struggled with the food. Good Beach, clean Hotel and large rooms. The Staff was friendly and so was the Chef Ahmed Ebeid from the kitchen who prepared the best food ever! One can look forward to lots of variety and food from international cuisine as well as local cuisine prepared tastefully. All in all an elevating food experience for the holiday!

The facility is fine but the food is miserable, there is no diversity and the quality of food is very poor. The higeine could be better. Everything could be better with better management. They are on an extreme cost reduction plan.

This is a review for the Star Aqua Center. I just returned from a one day snorkeling trip, with the crew from the diving center, so i will tell you fresh insights. The boat: real nice. At first, it looked nothing special. But once on board, we realized that the cleanliness was amazing. The toilets were super clean also, which for a boat it seemed incredible. The personnel: super professional and friendly. The crew consisted of 5 or 6 members. Not all spoke good english, but some of them, like Abdul, was amazing. They were really good at their job. They worked like a well oiled mechanism. 😉 You could tell they love what they are doing and they were doing it real good. The food: delicious 😋. We didn't had great expectations. But holy moly, they surprised us. The food was fresh made, there, on the boat, by one of the crew members. It had variety. It tasted great. It was plenty, for who wanted a second portion. At the end of the trip we received a fruit salad, that was better then everything related, that i ate at the hotel.😅 The snorkeling experience: amazing!!! We stoped first, at a coral reef. We went back and forth in the path indicated by the crew, who were always having an eye on us, to check and see if everyone was ok. We saw amazing fishes (just like in their selling brochure). We saw amazing corals. We saw what usually we can only see in documentaries, on National Geographic or Discovery Channel. We returned to the boat and sailed away to another place. While they were thighing the boat, near the shore we saw what appeared to be a manta ray. It was gone until we were all in the water, but then we realized that here, at this second reef, the fishes were even more and more diverse that at the first reef. At one moment, we were above a "fish highway" 😅. They were so many and they were swimming in the opposite direction, underneath us. Absolutely amazing. By far, until now, the best snorkeling experience for me. We then went to another place. Another colleague of them, brought a fast boat with a "banana" in tow. Who wanted to, were taken with the boat to an atoll island with white sand. Some of us, stayed at the boat and swam near the boat. The water was AMAZING! Crystal clear, beautifully blue shaded. Once the people returned from the island, it was "banana" time.😅 As expected, everyone was in the water at the end, but it was near the boat so it was super easy to just swim back to it. We finished off with diving in the water, all of us, crew included 😎. Overall, a great experience, that i would highly recommend to everyone who is passionate about snorkeling. …

If you choose to stay at Imperial Shams I highly recommend to take the snorkeling day trip from the sales representatives of Aqua Center. It is also a good opportunity to practice your negotiation skills, you can get amazing deal. The snorkeling experience is excellent, the staff is very friendly and you also get drinks and tasty food. You can go on a small island with white sand and also ride a banana. All in all it was an awesome experience thanks to our host Abdul and his team.

My daughter and I spent a month at this hotel this year. The reason is simple, a great hotel at a great price. The first thing I would highlight is the cleanliness of the hotel. Daily, all-day cleaning, both in the rooms and in the hotel area. He really always tries to make sure everything is perfectly cleaned. And they manage all this with a smile on their face. Rooms First we had a Superior room with a large terrace from which there was an unrivaled view. Perfection. And I highly recommend these rooms. After that we had a classic room and it was no problem either. Restaurant, I have no words here. They welcome you every day with a smile on their face, the food is always perfectly prepared, the selection is always rich. The taste of the food is great for us, but if it is not enough for someone, there is always enough spice. A large selection of vegetables, fruits, pastries and desserts. The restaurant staff is very willing to help with anything. A big thank you to each of them and, above all, hats off to everyone. Chef Ahmed is truly Mr. Chef. The bars in the hotel are great again, pleasant, smiling staff who make the day pleasant with various drinks. A large number of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are available. The pool is a bit busier due to local clients but we still enjoyed it there. We had no problem. Because if you have a vacation to enjoy, you will enjoy it. Here I would like to thank the lifeguards for how carefully and honestly they guard and take care of safety 100% all day. They are happy to help with anything and again smile all day. Beach and sea, as is already known, Egypt is simply a sea paradise. Beach maintained, beach staff very helpful and hardworking. The sea is mild, so suitable for families with children. Again, there is a 100% patrol to ensure everyone's safety throughout the day. Thank you And finally I kept the animators and their team. As I already mentioned, there is mainly a local clientele, which unfortunately avoids any activity. The boys try to diversify every day. They have a lot of activities, stretching, aquagym, darts, pétanque, volleyball, soccer, zumba, mini disco, a different show every night. Disco in the hotel and they also provide a disco outside the hotel, either in Hurghada or in a neighboring hotel. They are happy to accompany you to these big discos and at the same time take care of your safety which is really great. But I will return to the activities at the hotel. Guys don't have it easy, only a very small number of clients participate in activities other than lying down and swimming. But even so, he tries to make sure everyone enjoys it all day with a smile on his face. We participated and enjoyed everything every day and it was great. Everyone is very friendly, smiling, cheerful and very funny. Again, you can contact them with any problem or question and they will be happy to help you. The evening show is always fun, something changed every time so that it doesn't repeat itself. Thank you very much and here namely Mohamed, Zizo, Mustafa, Kazim and others who were in charge of the other hotel but belong to the team (Sayed, Hussein). Thank you because it would be boring without you 😂😂 I really have to highlight the fiery show that Muhammad puts on, because I have never seen such an emotional, perfectly prepared show. I visited this hotel in August with my family. I have to say, I liked this hotel from the first moment. Beautiful surroundings, everything was very close to each other: restaurant, rooms, swimming pool, sea... One could enjoy a peaceful holiday. I was curious about the animation team because on such types of vacations I like to be involved in all activities. Their offerings were varied, the most liked aktivity for me was dancing and zumba. Their animation team was great. They were smiling, witty and helpful. The pity was that too many people didn't want to get involved, which I don't understand. On the other hand, it was really hot, fortunately the wind was blowing too. The beach was sandy, sometimes the rest of the coral bedrock in the sea, but no water shoes are needed. The sea is shallow, you can't swim much. Local businessmen walk the beach trying to sell you something, but if you tell them you don't want anything, they move on. We used massages in the hotel SPA centre. The masseurs were skilful. If someone wants to lie on the beach without any interruptions, there is a relax ing zone where it is quiet. There is a fitness area above the SPA centre, where there is free access. I liked the view from the treadmill to the sea. The food in the restaurant was typical of the Arabic way of cooking. Plenty of choice and I have highlighted to season and spice up meals, I have comparisons with other hotels in Egypt or Tunis and here it was the best of them. The cleaning in the room was done every day, always tidy, clean towels. All the hotel staff were nice. I would recommend this hotel for a quiet holiday when people want to relax, not deal with anything and relax while doing some activity with animators.…
