Decent, pleasant, comfortable hotel with several pools and its own water park for free, gradual entry into the sea (shoes recommended). I missed my own coral reef a bit, but it is already in the power of nature ... An amazing flower garden.
The rooms are furnished with new furniture. There is a regular supply of clean towels and bath towels, meticulous cleaning not only in the room but also outside and on the beach and, of course, in the dining room.
The whole staff is nice, helpful, caring, great.
Of course, there are spas (masseuses with golden hands), shops, pharmacy ...
A hotel where I could imagine a relaxing stay for several months. A soul balm.

On arrival, I was made aware that Hawaii Paradise was a new location, which was based on feedback over some questions about its location. However, the hotel is substantive enough to cause me confusion over why this would even be a question.

My wife and I took on a double room fully catered.

It's billed as a 5-star hotel but in my experience, it's a 3-star at best. That being said, please don't let that take away from booking. You get what you pay for and this was a perfectly comfortable and importantly safe hotel. Staff by and large were friendly and supportive. For the English speaker, there were some barriers. As conversations were largely fine to carry out but the impression was there this was a 3rd to 4th language for the staff which led to some confusion. Attempts at French as an alternative didn't get me very far either, in turn, led to mostly half English and half mime.

The hotel had everything you would want. Several pools, a mini aqua park being a section of a few slides. The MSP was the beach being right on the doorstep, so not far from a safe dip in the Red Sea. On arrival, you are given your room card and a card for each visitor for towels. At the end of the vacation, you need to return the cards. However, we couldn't as one of our towels was stolen as my wife had to step away momentarily. So be careful with this, we were not fined or anything but still, it runs the risk. Safety considerations, there is a room safe as standard but the patio door leading directly into the entertainment area didn't lock. At least, without some manipulation to do so. I am sure, a sharp pull on any of the doors would have opened them with little force. So I would recommend that the hotel does a security audit in that area.

The food was lovely, local fare, and catering to the largely Muslim/Arab clientele. So, a good time to advise European tourists, this isn't a hotel with the expectation of a drinking holiday. Although alcohol is available, these are in plastic coffee machine vending-style cups. I don't personally drink anymore but it would take, I guess, 4 of these to fill a pint glass.. Plus the wait to get served, you get the idea. That in itself is a good thing, there was no-nonsense on the holiday with families and clientele well-behaved and clearly there to enjoy. The Animation/Events team put on shows every day and evening from 7 PM and were engaging with customers. Special shout out to how they entertained the kids, with fun and I am sure, a welcome relief for parents looking for a rest. My only observation is that I sometimes hit the sack at 9 PM, as with long COVID and tired, plus with early starts for tours, you still had the entertainment going on outside from your room to 10 PM. This is a very minor quibble.

Touts.. What surprised me on this holiday was how much you were harassed in the hotel for a variety of things.. Normally, this is a safe haven until you step outside. For this reason, the hotel lost a few points. My wife and I went there to rest after a grueling COVID few years.. In turn, we were constantly being approached for the Health Spa/Extra Drinks which became pretty relentless. It often didn't go an hour without being approached and sometimes by the same person. I buckled later in the week and took advantage of a massage and health spa visit. Which was wonderful, again with the tips though.. Whatever price you negotiate, make sure you keep some cash back to whoever is doing your treatment. I only had £200 EGP available to me and at the end of the session, I was told by the employee that "It wasn't enough".. It's all I had, after spending £100 UK GBP on treatment.. So, please be mindful of that. There were a handful of little shops on site for souvenirs, my wife had to attend the pharmacy for a cough.. again the badgering for tat was overwhelming.. You expect that offsite but not in the hotel.

The room itself was spacious large double. With the aforementioned patio doors leading out to the main entertainment area. Air conditioning and apart from a wonky shower, just what we needed in every way. Solid furniture and a TV showing the usual local channels, with some English films for the evening and news. Goes without saying, don't drink the water but you will likely do the Egyptian walk at least one day of your holiday.

The pool areas were clean and the chap who was I guess, our pool gent was a lovely bloke who I nicknamed Freddie as he had a touch of the Mercury about him. A truly nice guy and friendly nagged us to get in the pool and kept an eye out for us. I regret not giving him something at the end of the trip and he was truly the nicest out of the whole hotel. I will include a photo of him, to ensure that he gets praise and for you to keep an eye out for him. If you see him, tip him and I will get you a drink if we meet. As for the other staff in the hotel, from a British perspective. Generally, not great. While there were some attempting to engage in conversation and to brush up their English, talk about family over in the UK or just shoot the breeze.. There was a feeling of 'couldn't be arsed' about some of them. Most frustrating is, perhaps this is Egyptian culture, of stopping something mid-conversation with us to take a call... Clearly, banter or general chat with a friend, ignoring us for a few mins, then coming back to us. Some apologized, but frankly, very rude to the Westerner.. Worse when you're talking about something important or making inquiries about something urgent,. Again, a 3 not 5-star experience.

Flies and bugs.. You will get bitten.. There seemed to be a big fly problem towards the end of the week with the fumigators being used on-site. We got choked up on a night returning from a trip because of it. However, clearly, they are mindful of this though and doing something.

The real luxury of this holiday was a late checkout for £30GBP which was worth every penny.. A full last day, catered with a room check out by 6pm and our lift to the airport at 6.30PM.. To me, that made all the difference with the long journey ahead of us home.

Would I go back to this hotel? Probably not. Would I recommend it, yes, with the awareness of the feedback above. Are there better hotels in the region? I believe there are but not sure if so actually on the Red Sea. We stopped at a hotel for a tour pick-up in Hurghada and we had a drink in an excellent hotel there, catering to the German clientele in the Steigenberger district. I might consider that if I went back.

We took separate trips over to Luxor and Hurghada which I will write about on here. We didn't get to the Pyramids but hope to return someday.

Worst hotel ever seen in 30 years of travelling. I do not recommend even if is for free. do not come here. you will regret it for all your life.
Food- nothing to eat. same food served daily more than 7 days discussing with other tourists.
Hygiene : no respect for nothing. everything is very very very dirty ( from plates, machines, personnel, food)
Room : the furniture is old and dirty. For cleaninng no Vacuum cleaner is used. a big threat to the individual safety and life.
restaurant/: main restaurant is daily very croudy. for breakfast nothing to eat. 100 people all the time waiting in line.
No bottled water oferred to tourists (except 2 bottles per day per room!). no shampoos or soap.
All drinks are served in a very tint plastic glasses including beer. Ofher personal glasess are not allowed.
thw drinks are a threat to your safety. Fake local drinks very very bad.
Personnel: very rude with all tourists .This location. is a bigger pension and a big threat to your safety.
Water from pool: i do not think they are cleaning the water.
beach : only rocks . nothing to do on fhe beach. there is no sand.
the first hotel with less than 1 star from any country in the world. U can find hotels in Somalia or Kenya above this worst “hotel”.
don t come here! you will regret all you life!
do not bring your children here!!!

The stuff was extremely unkind, almost nobody speaks English, and those who do, argued with us when we complained. The food was disgusting (cold, stale, monotonous and to many local spices, no international food, the same pastries were standing there for 5 days uneatable). The restaurant was extremely dirty and to small for such number of people. We paid 60 euros for gala dinner for New Year's Eve, and you can check on the photos what we got... dried ham leftovers from previous day, salads served like for the animals, not to mention the decoration... They stopped serving drinks at midnight. The restaurant manager promised international show, with live band, which never happened. We only had poor belly dance show and some kind of Arabian folk dance. Only one pool out of eleven was heated, and it was still cold. The cleaning guy was the only face with a smile we met. We didn't see animation staff at all. The music at the pools is to loud during the day and interferes all the time My compliments for the architect, the garden is beautiful. This was my second time in Egypt, and it has completely ruined all the good impressions I had from my first visit. I would never go back to this hotel!

Facility were amazing but services were sucks i’m writing this review while I’m still staying.
The service in the hotel left to the staff behaviors and discretion they might hide some amenities from you in order to ask and pay forced tips.
The sun beds are not enough for the capacity of the hotel guests however there’s no other facilities for the guests than sea and swimming pools around the aqua park even the Internet it’s chargeable for the guests in the room.
Kid of my neighbors Poo in my terrace and my other neighbor, I called reception to send someone to clean it the reply was where’s the kid parents!!
I believe the managers in this hotel needs a lot to do to keep loyal customers to come back.
I had to call again after 30 minutes because no one arrived to clear the Poo.
Still until now no one arrived to make the job done.
However I saw the responsible housekeeper for my area chatting with his colleague around the swimming pool.

First of all its ramadan so food in the hotel is supposed to be good, but the food is disgusting even if your fasting you wont be able to eat anything when you break your fast. Staff are unfriendly even the managers they didnt even study hospitality. They dont know how to deal with people. So rude they dont even respect privacy, they literally came in my room this morning without me telling them to come in. I dont trust this place, i have to take all my valuable belongings with me. So they dont enter the room again. Someone needs to do something about this hotel it has bare bad reviews. I’d prefer sleeping in the street more then this hotel. Everything is just rubbish

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever visited in my life. And I have been a heavy traveller for more than 30 years. The restaurant - the worst food you can imagine, very dirty and there is literally nothing good to eat, the food is cold and few days old, nothing freshly cooked, and the restaurant is always so unimaginably crowded, lines of 100 people everywhere. Staff is very rude and unfriendly. For drinks you only get it in tiny plastic glasses and awful quality. The rooms are big, but dirty. The beach is bad. Worst experience in my life!!!

I’ll keep this brief
3 out of 10 and that’s being generous. 1 point for the weather 1 point for the view 1 point for the room..
Please don’t waste your money going here . The staff are the rudest ever!!! Literally throw the drinks at you and locals do jump the q 😡the drinks are crap anyway.. all spirits taste of varnish, all served in TINY sippy cups..the beach is full of rubbish, the food is the EXACT same every meal, no change atall.. the dinner service is like an indoor bbq. Smoke everywhere inside .. the wine at dinner is vinegar, again in a stupid plastic sippy cup, ironically the evening entertainment is sooo crap it’s hysterical.. went to the room every evening to watch movies.. 2 channels put on English movies.. .
I’ve never felt sad on a holiday ever!! I felt sad here I tell ya!
The wifi sort of works in the lobby but just about..
11 pools hahaha !! Only 1 heated and that was 180 cm so you can’t stand up in it .. they probably want you to drown lol
Slides are fun but only on from 11-12 and 15-16pm and omg quite a few injuries on them. Grown man came off and really hurt his back!!
Really really slippery round pools.. lots of people slipping over..o and to top off your holiday you are greeted by the biggest obstacle of all at hurghada airport .. be prepared for 15 security checks … just be prepared 🤦🏻‍♀️.. voting with my feet.. never ever going again ..
