I suggest you check with these tour offices, you may find them in Nemaa Bay or wherever u r staying, they arrange one day trip to Sinai Mount and usually leave by Night, you can join them without going to them mount, just ask them to drop u instead at the Camp.. or you can go for the Hike if you want then in the morning go down directly to the camp.. Cuz somehow you will pay the same fare .. I made it directly to the camp last time but out of Dahab and many of tourists do the same .. I paid around 150 Egp it could be +/- from Sharm not sure.. Enjoy the beauty of St Catherine :)

Send a note to the bedouin camp they will send someone to pick you up in Taba and give you instructions how to cross Eilat. We did this a few weeks ago and there was no problem. The bedouin camp turned out to be a highlight on our 6 week tour to Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Ethiopia and Dubai. Sheik Mousa is wonderful rooms clean food great and most of all they really take care of you.

"Private bath and private rooms are available. Shared baths are also available at lower cost."
"Most of the rooms are good. All on ground floor."
"All rooms are small but clean with fantastic views of the surrounding landscape....as most don't have bathrooms you might want to get one closer if you're visiting in the winter or early spring.....it's a chilly walk at 3 am."
"Make sure the room has a heater. And get an ensuite."
