We spent a fortnight here early March and really enjoyed our stay, The staff are all amazing and are a credit to the hotel. From the bar staff, restaurant chefs, waiters, cleaners and gardeners all you ever get are smiles and a real polite feeling they are there to help you enjoy your holiday. We made friends with many and I will not mention anyone in particular to prevent leaving someone out. The hotel is very clean all food and drink areas are spotless and seem to be cleaned 24 hours a day. The standard room we had in Block 11 was spacious with free air con, safe and the toiletries, tea and coffee and certain fridge items were replenished daily. The beds were huge and the bedding changed every few days and the room serviced daily. Our first floor balcony looked over to the pool and all gardens and pathways are well kept, maintained and spotless. We visited the 3 al a carte restaurants and you must ensure you try them all the Flavour was our favourite. You won’t go hungry here either as the main self service buffet restaurant is huge and offers a vast and varied hot and cold menu for every taste at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pool and beach facilities are excellent with loads of sun beds but I must state that the hotel was not full during our whole stay. The entertainment was very good and varied for all ages both day and night. There are at least 6 bars/lounges that open at different times one for 24 hrs so you won’t go thirsty. Good value for the money, give it a go.

Just came back from an amazing week here and would definitely return. We had a suite so the room was beautiful. Found the service to be faultless and all staff went out of their way to serve you with a smile. Also found the standard of d English much better than other hotels in the coast resorts. Shout outs to the ever so happy Sobhy on reception and Mahmood and Waleed on bar service for always looking after us. The internet issue is easily solved with a SIM card either at the airport terminal upon arrival or across the road from the hotel. We really enjoyed 'Downtown' each day for lunch and the hard working animation team. The nightly shows were a highlight and 'Slim's' team worked tirelessly to ensure the schedule was full and varied.

Afew niggles....
The food and guest relations:
The system of booking the al carte restaurants for dinner was a waste of time. They had no information on which restaurant was open on certain nights also you can only book 24 hours in advance. This meant we ended up queuing up for afew days in a row and not getting into any! Such a waste of valuable holiday time and think this system needs resolving.
Hotel information:
We received no map or information on the hotel facilities so didn't even realize they had tennis, football, archery until days later after arrival. Also couldn't find the towel center as it wasn't signed at the activity pool. PCR from hotel was fine however again we didn't get the correct information from the hotel. If you use the clinic you need to book 24 hours before test, have a print out of your passport and pay £60. We received tests results although again this wasted alot of time and if the reception had correct details would have saved us well over two hours!!
Room provided cosmetics and mini bar:
These were disappointing and seem to be a 'jaz' policy.....no shampoo only showergel in a container on the shower wall, no refills of room cosmetics for a week! One body lotion and one conditioner for two people for 7 days. Also only one mini fridge stock provided- one Cole and one Fanta...no refills in a week duration.
We did request more ( we had paid for a suite) also this does not happen with other companies such as Marriott, Baron, Steigenbeiger and left a bitter after thought. Promised to rectify but never materialised.

Would return due to the fantastic service we received and I hope that management try to rectify these policies.

Dear fionnualad93, We appreciate you taking time to post your feedback about your recent vacation in our Club. It is a pleasure for us to get the highest score from you. Thank you for mentioning the names of our colleagues, we will pass your warm words to them personally. It is sad to read that you had an issue with finding the towel centers- there are 3 throughout the hotel, of course, including the Activity pool area. As for the room amenities, shampoo and shower gel (2 in 1) are available in dispenser in the shower cabin in each room. Sorry to hear that your cosmetics weren't refilled, we will pay more attention to that. We will be happy to see you again! Best wishes, The entire team of MAGIC WORLD Sharm

We've recently returned from a 2 week holiday here and are utterly impressed. The grounds are beautiful and constantly maintained. The rooms are plenty spacious and cleaned everyday, they also charge towels and restock your fridge if needed (a little tip helps I think). Our housekeeper Mahmood was a pleasure, always on hand to help and so polite.

The WiFi is pretty poor in this hotel so worth buying a sim or WiFi box as you can't get it anywhere other than the bars.

The buffet restaurant is one of the best we've been to. Everyday there are new tasty dishes added which include fresh fish, poultry and vegetarian options. The salads and breads are amazing also. I cant comment on desserts as I didn't try but our teens loved the baklava!
The restaurant staff work incredibly hard all day and night and we were particularly impressed with Islam and supervisor Mohamed, they were always on hand with drinks or an extra pair of hands! At the Downtown restaurant was fab too as we're the al a carts.. Antonious is super helpful and his English is impressive.

The bars are good and the staff are fab here too, highly recommend the mango slushies! The Eagle Lounge is great for cocktails and Omar will make you anything you fancy as well as entertain with a gag or two.

The pools do what the say on the tin, the activity pool is vibrant, loud and fun and the relax pool is chilled and quiet, both have bars. Both also had cheeky lifeguards and Marco was very helpful with sun loungers and local knowledge.

The entertainment team are troopers, they perform fabulous shows in 38degree heat and smile all the way through. They offer a full list of exercise classes throughout the day too.

We've been to Egypt many times and this is by far the best hotel we've stayed at. The rooms are a bit dated (especially the bathroom) but are clean and functional. I must share that the beds are unbelievably firm. We had two rooms and all four of us struggled with back and neck pain from them as we adjusted.

It's walking distance from shops, restaurants and pharmacies or a taxi ride from soho Square etc..

We wouldn't hesitate to book again!!

it's my first time i write a review while i am still guest, i still can't believe that i booked a holiday in 5stars hotel "supposedly", and i found my self after the check in keep asking about the room amenities by phone, and everytime i ask for anything, the answer come with a surprised voice over the phone, really you want? Ok we will bring, you really want slipper? Ok we will bring for you, till i found front of me on the end, a boy from the house keeping department holding big bag like Santa claus bag full of everything the room should have plus two robes, followed with another boy holding fruits, they shouldn't provide all of this amenities from the beginning without me asking? or they wait with the hope of not asking? today i asked why i have no blackout as any other hotel room? and the answer was as usual: you want blackout? We will bring it for you, me asking: but why i have to wakeup with sunrise? the answer was: because most of our guests don't like the darkness (and they didn't fix till now), please i need iron and ironing board, the answer is: sorry we don't provide this service, and the worst part was when i asked on arrival to upgrade my room as promised by phone after booking, if you want us to upgrade your room from garden to sea view, first of all cancel your booking from booking.com website and book directly through us, after that we will do the upgrade, and on the end i get upgraded to kids club with palm trees view, i accepted this two rooms just because we were tired of waiting knowing that we will never get anything better specially that the resort almost empty and the upgrade will never cost them anything.
Food is really too much of varieties but need to be improved specially the desserts.
Animation team are amazing, very clean resort, pool is very cold, most of the staff care about everyone and do their best to make us happy.
do you think I will repeat my visit? I suppose to extend for another 4 days as i informed the reception on my arrival that, i need a relaxing room with nice view to not be bothered going to search for another place for the rest of my holiday, but the hotel made his choice.

Dear Mr. Khaled, Thank you for taking time to share your vision about the hotel on Tripadvisor.com. It is a pity that you did not enjoy your stay with us as your high expectations were not reached. First of all, we would like to stress on the fact that we never confirm any room requests or wishes as they might be respected only upon hotel availability & decision. As you already mentioned, your reservation was for a Garden View room and upgrade to a Sea View room was given you free of charge upon your insistent desire, but still you were not satisfied. Our staff did their best to fulfill your numerous requests and provide you the highest level of hospitality. We do not provide an iron in the room due to safety reasons, however, laundry service is available in the hotel 24 hours. The Activity pool is being heated since beginning of December, many guests are enjoying it every day, so your comment about "cold pool" really surprised us. Thank you for the good words towards our entertainment team, we will definitely pass it to them. Regards, Hotel Management

A wonderful week at Magic World with the food a particular highlight. Clean hotel, well maintained grounds and friendly & attentive staff. Stunning coral reef for snorkelling and scuba (see below), nice pools, and large expanse of beach.

Overall a great hotel but some of the consistent minor gripes in other reviews are worth noting.
The WIFI is appalling. Not necessarily a problem if you’re happy to revert to 1990’s dial up but in 2022 it really should be better than this.
The rooms are a bit dated but they’re big and clean and perfectly useable, although our fridge was broken and needed changing.
Also the A la Carte (Flavour) we tried was not great so we stuck with the buffet which as said was superb on every level for every meal.

Also true as per the other reviews is the friendliness of the staff. Mahmoud Nasem makes a mean bed and towel sculpture and Muhammed ‘Bon-appetit’ is a great, attentive and friendly waiter. The place is impeccably clean and the gardens are really well planted and maintained

We booked a Scuba course with the ‘onsite’ dive school who taxi you down to Shark’s Bay and another company called Bright Star Dive School. They are poorly run and disorganised although the dive sites in Sharks Bay are stunning. If you plan to Scuba research other schools in the area before going and consider who you use.

Didn’t take much notice of the entertainment programme but was a little disappointed some of the advertised bars and cafes weren’t open. This seemed to be because occupancy was low and we benefitted from this in other ways by an abundance of beds and free choice of tables and no queues in the restaurant.

My only complaints are not the hotels fault. The Mozzies gave me a right good going over and an abusive guest who failed to understand what ‘Relax’ means in reference to the Relax / adults pool and unleashed a profanity laden and threatening tirade at several guests took the gloss of slightly.

A last minute decision to return to Sharm now that TUI are flying again and what a good decision it was.
This hotel is first class in every aspect. Fantastic heated swimming pool ( smaller pool not heated), good beach area and jetty to access the reef and very comfortable rooms. Food was extremely nice, great variety and quality in the buffet restaurant. Sofra which you have one visit included is great fun. Lovely setting and a masterclass in Egyptian meze. Wine is very drinkable and good selection of cocktails plus beer and usual spirits.
Staff seem genuinely pleased to see the Brits returning and are unfailingly polite, friendly, efficient and happy to chat. Always enjoyed my chats with one of the lifeguards ( Mo Google, you know who you are ) . Plenty of space around the pool and very comfy sunbeds.
If you have any doubts about coming back to Sharm then forget them, it is as good as ever it was.
Note for management - now the Brits are back you must add some English language news channels please.
Note to travellers - TUI are saying that you need to purchase a visa on arrival £20 or $25. This is not the case as long as you are staying within the protectorate and not planning a trip to say Cairo or Luxor.
Airport security on departure was strict but actually worked very well until it came to boarding the flight when it descended into chaos with final passport checks and random selection further full security checks. Purely as a result of this we were an hour late departing.

Upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite, which had a small sitting area. We appreciated having this extra space a lot. We loved the hotel territory with arabesque style buildings scattered in very nicely maintained landscapes. Our room was with a garden view, but it was quiet and lovely.
Bathroom had all complimentary supplies available, good amount of towels and bathrobes.
All inclusive system worked perfectly, all your need you can get in the hotel 24/7.
Personel was very friendly and eager to serve your every need. Animation team is extremely enthusiastic.
Chef’s dinner at the Flavour was the highlight.
I enjoyed massages at the SPA, comes highly recommended.
Downsides? Sea entrance is only from the pier.
Well, I personally didn’t enjoy the photographer and Diving school trying to sell me their services every day, while I laid by the pool. Bed sheets were worn-out and of poor quality. Beds too hard. But those drawbacks were overweighed by a very nice time we spent in TUI Magic life

It was great to be able to come back to Sharm and to have a warm welcome from all the staff at Magic life. The hotel is immaculate and the food has definitely improved since we last visited 4 years ago. Top marks to the chef and his team. Highlights for us we’re doing a trial dive with Magic divers! An amazing experience and they looked after us so well. My husband loved the tennis coaching with Theo and I enjoyed the classes withPaulo, Christina and Beatrice. All excellent. Everyone was so pleasant and our room was cleaned every day by Allah who was always smiling. Looking forward to a return visit to lovely Sharm.

1st of all. don’t take the negative reviews to heart

We arrived on the 15th the hotel decor is lovely, everywhere is spotlessly clean and cleaners are around 24/7

The room was spacious and had a view of the chill pool, which was fine for us. Fresh tea coffee and water provided daily. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and bed linen if required
To be honest we used the room to shower, change and sleep.

The entertainment staff hands up to them was FANTASTIC they was friendly and approachable and really helpful and the evening shows was bloody amazing, but the freed from desire tune is etched in my brain. The daily activities, we did a few pool games, the darts, the shuffleboard and archery

The waiter staff, the life guards, the chefs and reception staff was all brilliant and very friendly and would go out their way to give you a great holiday

The food was definitely above expectations, it was hot and always something to eat and the other restaurants was also well worth a visit.

The drinks wasn’t great as was local spirits but with the heat we found it not to be a big deal but lots did moan about it but we have to remember its a muslim country.

The coffee cafe, the coffee n cake cafe and the steak place was shut as was not at full capacity i guess about 25% was a shame as would have loved coffee up the tower to see the views.

The cats are also looked after i saw a cat area that was cool too

Only bad things. for a 5 star hotel sort your wifi out as most travel are all apps, i believe if this was better it would help a-lot.

The perfume store on the premises DONT GO he will pressure you into buying and was a horrible experience,

Overall a fantastic holiday and will return. .)

I went to Magic World Sharm for my first solo trip with TUI. The resort was amazing, wasn’t busy when I visited as normally I’ve been told that most of their guests are Russian and Ukrainians, however on this trip they were mostly British guests.

The resort was very clean and tidy, my room was clean and the housekeeping were very on point and innovative with the towel displays however the only negative would be the “sea view” it was not really a sea view due to the palm trees and the sea wasn’t too visible from my balcony. Food was OK, breakfast was basic, wish there was more of a variety. Lunch and dinner was ok too. I did not try their a la carte as I was not aware that this was included in the all inclusive.

The staff were really nice and friendly thank you to Slim he made my trip memorable with the entertainment in the resort. The receptionists could be a little more friendlier as they are the first to be asked for any queries.

I did visit on the last week of March which I think is still “winter” time of Egypt so the pool was too cold to swim in but once it was 30degrees weather, it was nice. WIFI was a problem some days. As a young traveller, Wifi connection was important so I did have to buy a Egyptian SIM card to get some data, however wifi was better in my room than in public areas.

There are shops outside the resort but be wary of prices as they can overcharge like crazy - same with shops in the resort. I exchanged my money in the hotel to Egyptian pounds, however I was told next time it would be better to bring USD.

Another negative, would be the beach water, you will need water shoes it is rocks and corals when it is low tide. Also, the beach itself was alright, clean but wasn’t the best view but the Jetty was pretty cool. Shisha wasn’t available due to Covid.

If you visit Sharm, please visit Farsha Cafe and go on a boat trip with the diving experience! Definitely recommend.
