do not, under any circumstances book this hotel. food terrible, entertainment worse. owners are only interested in making money, not in service.

I had tried to check on this hotel prior to arriving but didnt realise that it wasnt under 'The Sun Hotel' but was listed under The Raouf , if I had read the prevous comments would not have gone. Hotel booked as 5 star. Definitely not. Every thing that is advertised does not exist. New Years eve Gala only british were excluded. We Had all paid our different travel agents. Whilst reading previous reviews I can understand some comments, as I would not have it as a 5 star hotel, but we were treated very well by all the staff and could not complain about the room or its cleanliness, we had clean sheets and towels daily and the poolside towels were readily available. This is the worse hotel I have been to in my life. It is a mess the food was terrible. You could not get a drink and was smelly. Do not go to this Hotel. This is the first time I have ever wrote a review but the hotel is so bad I had to stop people ruiening their holiday....

If you want..... 1960's style "Butlins" food in the Russian style served in a works canteen. To expect 5 star all-inclusive to include any resturant or any bar on site. Just come back from a weeks stay in the sun hotel in egypt and i wish i had listened to some of the people on here. This hotel is shocking, its at the most a 2 star hotel, even the locals laugh at you when you tell them your staying there!! The staff try really hard to do their best...
