Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Plus points...... Nice budget hotel. Good to use as a base. Accommodation is basic, a bit tired, but nice and clean. The communal areas are beautifully kept, and the pool is lovely. The food is plentiful, with some very odd dishes, but can usually find something to eat. Breakfast is the best, the fresh bread and rolls are delicious 😋 Not so plus points....... It's only been 10 months since we were last there. Now I don't know if there's been a change of ownership in that time, but the atmosphere has changed tremendously, and not for the better. We were checked in by a man who, quite frankly, needed a refund from the charm school. He was so disinterested, he was borderline ignorant. I changed some money into EGP, no idea what the exchange rate was, and no receipt given, he just served me, while talking on his mobile and without looking up, slapped the money on the counter and walked away. All the staff seem obsessed with their mobiles though, and guest service are definitely second in their priorities. Another reception team member was having a full on shouting match with an elderly confused guest by the side of the pool. How dare he speak to that gentleman like that, he was bang out of order and needs taking to task over it. This poor old boy was just bewildered, and too be honest, probably didn't speak the lingo, so didn't have a scooby what was going. An absolute disgraceful spectacle. And then there's the animation team. Oh the irony, never was there a more unanimated duo. One bloke, who just walked backwards and forwards, with his black hoody over his head and white sunglasses, who couldn't raise a smile, but thought he was Egypts answer to Fat boy Slim, and played overly loud music, plus one young girl, who, bless her, did try, but the odds were stacked against her. So in all, if it's entertainment you're after, wrong hotel, especially if you have children and need more than just a pool. See, that's the problem, when you've got a couple of old birds, that go away for a winter sunshine fix, they've got nothing better to do once they've read their books, than people watch, a fascinating pass time. And this place was an eye opener!

A very friendly and clean place to stay, a bit far from the beach but easy commute via taxi. Hotel taxi was a expensive but you have a peace of mind that you are safe with them. Hotel food is nice and a lot of choices for you you chose from, staff is very friendly and try to help you wherever possible. Use the excursion guid based in the hotel complex, they will find you a very good deal.

+ Falcon Hills is conveniently located, close to several shops and bars. The hotel taxi service is fantastic and reliable and the staff are very friendly. - There is some noise from the main outdoor area that carries throughout the hotel and the rooms are a little tired. The Wi-Fi connection is atrocious, do not rely on being able to access the internet here! In all, this is a fantastic little hotel for visiting the area on a budget. It'll always have a little piece of my heart as we got engaged on our trip.

Great place for a vacation. Staff is very friendly and polite, always helpful. The food is good, we never left hungry. The hotel is clean and it’s in a very great location. There’s 2 pools - one is with cold water and the other warmer. There’s a hotel bus, which takes you to Nama Bay and the old town for free in the evenings. I recommend this place for a quiet stay and I’m definetely coming back.

This is our second time in this hotel. Amazing staff and entertainment. Nothing is to much trouble. Food is good as I am a fussy eater but have not gone hungry, even made me a pizza at midnight. Will be coming back for Christmas again this year. Highly recommended.

We have just arrived back home after spending 10 days. The hotel was perfect for us….HOWEVER the food was dreadful!! I eat most things but the food really lets this little gem down big time. Also download In drive to cut costs on taxis as they really do try to shaft you. I’m not sure we will be back as food really was terrible.
