You are up on a very steep hill that can only be accessed by only a few trucks. Nothing to do there. No good restaurants in town. Our room had an eclectic vibe, that I assume was the owners room when she is there. Problems with plumbing. Owner terrible to workers.
My husband and I had a lovely week at NH Lodge. Upon entrance I noticed how clean the lodge was. The team, Susan Sarita and Peter worked very hard at keeping the hardwood floors shining, the kitchen free from dirty dishes and our bedroom clean each morning with fresh sheets and towels as needed. They made fresh fruit, homemade breads and granola, and French press coffee each morning which we ate whilst enjoying the panoramic views of the bay and ocean. Sharon the owner was always friendly, energetic and a great resource in planning our daily activities. We appreciated the free wifi and enjoyed the warm pool on the balcony. The lodge is very close to town and we had fun walking down to visit the local market, shops and restaurants. We are looking forward to visiting Savusavu again and are planning on staying at NH Lodge again.…
Sharon and her team (Susan, Pitta and Vikash) are wonderful hosts and were always smiling and helping us however they could. The lodge has breathtaking views to the sea and nearby islands. The property is very nice and clean. Breakfast was different and tasty each morning and the small dipping pool was wonderful on a hot day. We had a great time with Sharon and her dog on a tour to the town, the village, waterfall and a hot water mud pool. :) Special mention to Sharon's lovely dog. Will miss you two and look forward of seeing you again. The lodge is situated on a very steep hill which you can walk if you'd like but they offer a cheap taxi service to town and back.
Unfortunately, our trip to Fiji did not start on a good note. We arrived in Fiji without our luggage and had no clothes or toiletries. However, the staff at Naveria Heights alleviated our worries. We were treated like family and they made us so comfortable. Fijian hospitality at it's finest. We mingled well with the other guests, and the staff we're always polite and patient with us. The location is remote, yet so close to the city. The view was second to none, and something that we truly miss. We'd just like to thank Susan, Pita and Viri for the warm Fijian hospitality. Until next time family. Vinaka.
just back from a trip from fiji. naveria heights was one of my placed of accommodation. a friend had recommended it and i was waaaaaaay better than i imagined. loved the breakfasts, managed the hill walk, which really wasn’t that bad! Even took Zeus, the cute dog, on a jungle hike with Rodney - our tour guide - and went rivertubing, definitely would recommend this. Even treated myself to a fabulous massage on my deck. I definitely would return! vinaka
