The place is very close to the city yet far to give you a peaceful and quite place to hang around with nature. Ideal for a couple/ friends or family. The place is very well maintained with very courteous staff, yummy food, complete nature and very comfortable rooms. Must visit and stay for all.

Our 1D/1N trip to the Bannerghatta Nature Camp has been the best short trip planned ever! Our parents were in Bengaluru for a week. We wanted to spend some quality time with them, away from our daily life. Ofcourse, we had never imagined doing a camp with them! But sometimes we end up doing something that we do not think... I love this place. Its does not provide 5 start luxuries, but its a very homely place. The staff ensures that our holiday is fun and go out of their way to help us enjoy. If you love nature nothing better than this, coming face to face with a Gaur on foot is a great feeling in its self.

Rooms and other Amenities were pretty decent. Very Natural and simple setup. Awesome home like food and staff was very courteous. The dormitory with bunk beds was a different experience. Jungle safari and nature walk in the morning were added attraction,

Any short holiday for my son and I means a trip to some wilderness area. I avoid the concrete jungles not only because I find nothing interesting in cities but also find driving very taxing on my nerves and so when an opportunity to drive to Bengaluru came up I was at a loss. For someone who can't think beyond... More

Location is very good. Swiss tents and executive tents are descent. However most disappointing part is the log hut. What you get is a room full of rats and you are paying almost 10k for this rat filled room ! Please do something to clean this mess !

I have visited most of the property of Jungle Lodges and this one was exceptional because of the close proximity from where we live. We reached this place in an hours time from my house. One of the best places for one day getaway near Bangalore. We stayed in the executive tent and we liked it. Best part was the Bannerghatta... It was easy to reach here. Staff is very polite and helping. Cottages are well maintained and clean. Food is excellent. Campus is beautiful and tail walk is must do activity. Well, the safari is not so adventures and they don't have jeeps. In the bus it is difficult to do photography as windows are covered with the net. Although... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Bannerghatta Nature Camp is a surprise. Just on the outskirts of a bustling city like Bangalore with its flyovers and late nights and chaotic traffic lies 25,000 acres of carefully preserved jungle. For children and the child in you, it's an amazing storybook destination brought to life. Bannerghatta has been used as a rehabilitation facility for tigers and lions rescued from circuses. The biggest of its kind, this facility has opened opportunities for India's first Lion and Tiger Safari. With enclosures that recreate their natural habitat, seeing a giant cat up close, with just the safety of the jeep separating you and the beast, resonates to a very deep part of you. ... more   less
