We spent 3 nights here. Lovely little hotel with comfortable rooms and friendly, helpful staff. The rooms were clean and well equiped for travellers. Not flash but good value for money in a tourist spot we found slightly dearer than other places visited. A block out of the main centre so nice and quiet. Lovely vine covered balcony rooms in...

Raintree Lodge ticks all the boxes for a no fuss, functional and basic stay, without ever compromising on comfort and cleanliness. The tastefully done up interiors and large size of the rooms (with air conditioning and fans - both much needed in Kochi) are a bonus. All this with a very affordable price tag attached. The helpful staff knows much...

Small size charming hotel. Nice and large rooms well furnished. Bathroom was nice for India (with separate shower), but could be repainted. Have a nice terrasse on the roof, too bad there were no seats there.

This was our first stop in India after a long flight. Staff was super helpful with organising sight-seeing. Unfortunately we found it very hard to get money in Kochi but the staff were very helpful, even offering to take us to their bank! The room itself had all the essentials and we spent 2 nights there very comfortably (hot water...

The staff here are excellent, couldn't do enough to help. The money fiasco affected everyone but Jude, the manager really helped us out. He also organised a tricky excursion that we needed to make, getting us a fantastic driver etc. The Lodge itself was perfectly functional, clean and well maintained. Decent air con and fan, which is needed in Kochi....

Rooms are above the standard expected at this price, and location is really good. Arrived during de-monetisation so had issues getting cash but staff were really helpful. Good value, they own a good cafe nearby as well called Koshi Art Cafe.

The hotel is in a great location with a very short walk to the fishing nets and local restaurants. The room was clean and spacious with a good sized bathroom. Breakfast is not included but there are many cafes nearby which can provide breakfast. The only issue was that on check out, early in the morning when we were due...

We were picked up from the airport by our driver Anthony, in a very cool vintage Ambassador. Anthony mainly drives for the old Harbour Hotel, which is owned by the same people. He gave us a little introduction to the people and culture of Fort Cochin. We were so happy when he dropped us off at the quaint little lodge...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Fort Cochin is a small town in the southern part of India. For centuries, it remained the focal point to many a European traveler, who eventually made it home. And in years to follow, it gradually acquired an eclectic mix of varied cultures that blend to form a unique existence for itself. Today, much of the place continues to exude this charm. Its tiny allies, European styled villas, quaint cafes and extensive grounds, all of which merge to create a beautiful location. ... more   less
