Since our first visit to Harivihar, we have become regulars here. This was our 6th visit to Harivihar. We love the ambience of the place. The large, well kept rooms and bathrooms are always very well maintained with high levels of cleanliness and hygiene. This time we were treated to an excellent fare of vegetarian treats by a new chef....

What a beautiful surprised to find Harivihar in our way to Kerala. We missed it so much. The place is great, furnished with style and taste; the food is just great, veggie and delicious, prepared with love by the gifted cook; the rooms are confortable and the treatments are deep and useful. And above all, we were welcomed by so...

It´s a very nice place if you want to try ayurvedic treatment or just relax for a couple of days. It´s genuine and not a tourist trap. It´s a butiful house, pleasant garden, exelent service ond food, fantastisc treatments and a patient yogateacher!

Stayed 9 days for ayurvedic treatment. It's done by non hotel team from local ayurvedic hospital. It's not the best I had but acceptable. There no coordination with the hotel cook, so that one cannot feel the real benefits. House and garden are nice, the room rather basic for the price. Got the only room with air conditioning, to keep...

The property itself is beautiful. It was an old school - I believe - and has been completely restored and upgraded. However, our bed was like sleeping on a concrete block - absolutely no give in the mattress. I like a firm bed but this was ridiculous. The room was very basic with little storage or amenities and the bathroom...

I realise that it would be naive to expect a boutique hotel experience in a homestay that specialises in aurevedic treatments. But from previous TripAdvisor reviews my hopes were that we would enjoy a tranquil night with good food in a beautiful setting. The food was very good and clearly prepared by people who care. The rooms however were somewhat...

Spent 3 glorious days here on the slightly shortened introduction to Ayurveda programme and loved every minute of it. It was a last minute decision to go and was on a recommendation from a traveller we met in Kannur who told us that he found the food alone to be transforming! So we had to give it a go and...

I only stayed here 1 night but the room and grounds were beautiful. Food was fantastic - I even discovered that it is not necessary for palaak paneer to have a cup of oil ☺. Morning yoga class was also a great way to start the day before traveling on. My only critique is to be wary of the recommended...

Just back from a 21 day stay at Harivahar Heritage House on an ayuvedic package to treat a nerve condition. Being there in September it was out of season and very quiet, perfect for me to relax. All procedures started the day after my arrival with one hour daily massage and one hour daily yoga class with Gopala, an excellent...

We stopped here for one night only, because we were flying home the next day. It is a beautiful place in a quiet part of Calicut. The food was excellent and we were well looked after. It has good access for the airport
