Great location, about a 5 minute walk to the beach, local to all the shops. Staff are very helpful, both pools are great. Wifi is good. Rooms are nice, the air con units do a brilliant job. The sister hotel acroas the road does very nice food. Overall a very relaxed place and loverly area

The bedroom was comfortable and clean. Room 210 (twin bedroom) had a small balcony out back to hang up clothes and to sit out to appreciate the view over the pool. It also has a fan, as well as working air conditioning, with hot water in the bathroom - give it a few minutes to heat up after turning on... More

The Hotel is basic. We had to ask them to clean the room for us and ask for clean towels (so only cleaned once in 6 night stay). Staff were friendly when it suited them. Good location. Pool area clean.

We stayed in a private cottage. The room was very average, A/C was constantly not working, the furniture is old, bed and pillows hard, no safety deposit box, no refrigerator, lots of mosquitos outside, wifi not working. But unless you plan to stay inside, the place is pretty ok. The location of the hotel is very good. Just across the... More

On top of the cliffs of Varkala the Raja Park offers nice rooms and a large swimming pool. The meals have to be taken opposite the road at a sister hotel. The room is large and with all modern equipment. AC works well, although there are frequent times when the electricity fails for a period of time. There are many... More

Rooms are basic but clean. I stayed in a deluxe a/c twin room. The aircon worked and there was always hot water. The bathroom was modern with new fittings and tiles. In the room there were 2 beds, a table, a chair, and a hatstand to hang clothes on - no wardrobe or drawers. Not much of a problem for... More

A clean and well maintained resort. Seafront is a little far but you can easily walk to the same. Pool is clean (in the mornings when the water is changed), but kind of gets a little dirty towards late afternoon and evenings due to the surroundings. Rooms are small but clean. Bed was a little hard and the bathroom was... More

We booked through booking.com but in Varkala you don't need to reserve in advance when it slow season. There are so many choices of hotels and guesthouses. We rented a deluxe room (a bungalow). Nice king size bed but really hard as well as the pillows. The room was big and very clean. The modern bathroom was also nice and... More

The place was rather deserted when we were there (off season), but the staff was friendly and the room ok. We had access to the nice pool of the partner resort on the opposite side of the street. The restaurant is pricy, but good. Try the dessert "Hello 2 the queen". Vivi and Inga
