If you are booking this hotel room online via travel sites then beware. Please double check by calling them. The booking could be denied later citing reasons like miss-communication from travel agent or anything. I booked a room for Dec 31st 2013 (booking made on Oct 8th 2013), but I was denied check-in on arrival. As it was the peak time...

First of all, the Laxmi Niwas has a new name, it is now known as Jain Hotel something... It was one of the worst hotels in our roundtrip - glad we stayed only one night. The room was dirty, the bed was filthy and it was incredibly loud - even in the night. I would not stay here again. We...

Like many other reviewers mentioned, the perfect location and friendly management was the positive side. Unfortunately the hotel staff is very noisy from early in the morning and you can hear train hooting during the whole night. The rooms are spacious but it could be cleaner and the bedlinen is old, dirty and smelly. It is due water pressure that...

Experience: It’s a heritage hotel – a stunning palace which takes your breath away completely at first sight. Its almost like museum with awesome view of nearby buildings and its looks completely out of world in the eve. Rooms are huge and extremely comfortable. Dining room & bar is stunning gives you a taste of by-gone era. Good stuff –...

This was one of my nicest stays in India. For the price you just can't go wrong. The room was well sized and clean clean clean. What more do you need to know? Nice public areas with cushions and shade. And I just loved the lively color scheme of the place. Hand painted murals in every room. Great attention by...

Laxmi Niwas has extremely friendly and obliging management, as well as a nice rooftop restaurant with comfy cushions to sit, read etc. The rooms were fine, some didn't have hot water, but that seems to be the norm in India and it was pretty cheap. Hard beds and noisy front room (but everywhere seems noisy in Jodhpur) but quite clean,...

Great stay in hotel. Nice spacious rooms and a good price. Staff were very helpful and friendly, and even helped us with our onward journey. Hassel free pick and drop off from train station was much appreciated. In close proximity to clock tower and markets (walking distance) and nice view from roof top restuarant of the fort. Would stay again!!...

Every time I am in Jodhpur I choose Laxmi Niwas - because of friendly and helpful host, hastle free atmospere, clean and spacious rooms in good price (even though I have never been honoured with hot water :-)). The food is safe and tasty. It is situated about 15 minutes walk from the fort, 5 minutes to Clock Tower. This...
