Returning after 3 years it was so lovely to discover that the welcome and hospitality in this little gem of a place hasn't changed. On arrival we were greeted by Nikhil with a garland of flowers and tea in the garden before being shown to our suite, which did not disappoint (except the mattress which was rather hard). Wonderfully decorated...

Had a lovely 2 nights here & would have liked at least 2 more. Forgot to request a longer bed the first night but ever pleasant & helpful Nikhil made one available on our second night. The many sitting areas & gardens are delightful & the garden warm on a sunny winter morning. Food if eating in is exceptional &...

We stayed here for a prolonged period over Xmas and New Year 2017. The suite was excellent and decorated in traditional haveli style. An excellent location in the old city with top views of the Fort and great terraces for relaxing and activities. The wonderful garden was a highlight and must be unique for an haveli in the old city....

We stayed here for almost three weeks in December 2016 - January 2017 and had the most wonderful experience. The Haveli is British-owned and the manager, Nikhil, is welcoming, friendly and speaks great English. He organised anything we needed during our stay, including trips, a live band, transfers and return train fares. In general we received excellent service all the...

Not sure where or how to begin, but here goes, firstly Bristows Haveli is tastefully decorated in true Indian style, making full use of traditional furniture and fabrics even the doors are beautiful old Indian. It is clean and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax. The welcome and hospitality from Nikhail was overwhelming, a garland of flowers around our...

What an absolutely lovely havali to choose, to stay in Jodhpur. My daughter and I, plus friend spent 10 nights here in November this year, and had an amazing time. We were looked after by lovely Nikhil and his wife Mina, and Abtaj who seemed to be on call the whole time, with drinks, snacks, as required. Nikhil is a...

An haveli in the old part of Jodhpur, the walls of the fort tower above you as you sit in the only garden in old Jodhpur. Staff are faultless, rooms clean with an eclectic mix of furniture. Layout a little eclectic too, we had a small double, that had two more bedrooms leading off the sitting area, bathroom large and...

Bristows Haveli is a beautifully restored original courtyard house; set right in the heart of the bustling, hectic, blue city of Jodhpur; but step through the doors and suddenly you're in an atmosphere of calm and tranquility; surrounded by beautiful plants, cool shaded rooms, and a welcoming family atmosphere. The manager of the haveli, Nikhil Mathur, couldn't have been more...

We stayed for a week in June....during a heatwave! Bristows Haveli was a joy to come back to after a hectic day out & about in the chaotic (but fun) and unbelievably hot Jodhpur. It sits beneath the ramparts of the spectacular Mehrangahr fort, which is beautifully lit at night. Lovely vibrant colours in the suites, beautiful old furniture &...
