Such a relaxing experience in a environment which is completely peaceful raw unadulterated. Khumbhalgarh is quite peaceful & cold like a Hill station. We stayed here in mid Feb & really was a great experience. Hotel has only 8 rooms. Our room was on first floor accessed by a steel spiral staircase. Room & bathroom was nice & clean. Restaurant...

This place is more like your country home than a hotel. Catering to more tour groups than individual enquiries in the owner's own words. Place is set in a remote corner of kumbhalgarh away from all the hotels that are on this circuit, about 8-10 kms ahead from where you turn off for the fort. Route markings are not really...

We went to this place 28/12/2012, the place is pathetic. Food is awful., tasteless and expensive. Located in an aloof place way away from the main tourist circuit with no connectivity. This place is only good for loners. Facilities are bare minimum. The management is highly UN-professional. We had a very bad experience with Inderjeet Singh's brother who was in...

Its not a hotel or a resort but a small 2 floor building with no amenities 3. You would come with an intention to...

Inderjeet Singh gave us precise directions and we easily found the silent valley which gives the establishment its name. We met Prithvi Singh, a young gracious host, the cordial locals who looked after our needs in minutest detail. And we felt very secure in the middle of the forest in a comfortable and clean room with hot water and everything...

Silent Valley Hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, which is great. 8 rooms in all, with 4 on the first floor, accessed by a steel spiral staircase - now that's a difficult climb to manage for aged people and those with foot problems. Rooms feel somewhat bare-basic, and beds are a little rickety in some rooms, but toilets...

My two days at Hotel Silent Valley in the Kumbhalgarh/Ranakpur area were by far the most unique and enjoyable part of my two week trip to Rajasthan in May (low season). My friend and I (young women traveling without our spouses) felt totally safe and comfortable during our stay. The hotel is, as others say, surrounded by nature and a...

It is indeed a silent valley as it is 7 km away from the Fort. It is surrounded by nature and it is totally quiet. So it is a great break between the cities. But what made it special for us was the amazing staff. They are at first a bit shy but they will take perfect care of you....

“First floor rooms”
 of 5 bubbles Maverick_M5, 22 Jan 2013 | Read review
“Rooms on the first floor (105-108) are avoidable because climbing 15 steps up the steel spiral staircase might be a little tricky in the dark. In winter, avoid 101 & 102 because they set up a bonfire next to 101 and the smoke becomes unbearable.”
