One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. We stayed in a lovely room with its own morni g room and private balcony where we sat out at sunset watching the monkeys in the trees. Food at the a la care restaurant is of a very high standard. I'm attaching a pic of the veg Thali which...

Arriving at this hotel you are greeted by a turbaned costumed drummer with attentive staff waiting to carry your bags up the many flights of stairs to your room. Welcome soft drinks at reception and speedy processing of passports meant we were shortly following David, the manager to our suite, room 216, in the former Zenana or women's quarters. It...

The Deogarh Mahal is owned bij the Maharadja from Deogarh and is a real castle with spacious rooms, decorated with many family pictures and nice furniture. The rooms are very big and all look like a palace. We even had a outside patio in room 208, great. The bathroom also is very big and hot water was no problem. Free...

We stayed for two nights in this castle that has been converted into a hotel. We had two rooms and both were huge, ornate and uniquely designed. Our travelling companions were upgraded to the maharajas suite which we estimated to be in excess of 1700 square feet in size. It came complete with a large "reception" area, separate bedroom, a...

A very interesting place. Big, spacious rooms. Nice meals. Interesting Indian dance, followed by very good buffet. We enjoyed yoga on the roof and by the lake at dawn. The train ride is probably better after the rains with waterfalls, etc. the pool could use less chlorine but, all in all, a lovely experience.

India Someday booked this hotel for my husband and I and it was such a treat! It really wasn't that expensive given how luxurious it was. We felt like royalty. The room we had was quite large and in an old fashioned style but renovated with modern conveniences. I've added photos as you have to see this to know what...

I have just checked in & taken to my room It is supposed to be an upgraded suite It is definitely old but dark dingy & depressing. As well as that it is not very clean . Not used to the darkness when it's daylight outside

We were greeted by the Maharaja himself on arrival. Taken to our amazing huge ornate suites. That afternoon we climbed aboard an open vehicle and taken on a delightful ramble through the Deogarh country side seeing folk working the land and amazing bird life. The afternoon ending with the sun set over the lake. Great breakfasts and dinners on the...
