Our room was lovely and very comfortable and right on the lake side hence we could relax in the enourmous window seat. We ate in the rooftop restaurant one evening which was excellent. Despite the hotel being situated in a noisy part of the city it was relatively quiet once

Right on the lake, this hotel has it all - stunning views, great service and good food. Oh, and it’s also really pretty as well. Go for the lake view rooms, but if they have sold out (which they had when we booked) or you are on a budget, it’s worth going for their non lake

We enjoyed everything about the hotel with the exception of the shower which just didn't have any water. View from the rooftop terrace was exceptional. Location is good. Dinner and breakfast were of a good standard.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights on a tour around the area. Our room (401) was on an upper level and the door opened out onto the roof terrace that had fabulous views over the lake, parts of the town and the rolling hills beyond - a backdrop that provided a stunning

Sorry can’t help with your query - we weren’t aware of the hotel having its own boat!! We took a boat trip from the palace. You need to pay to walk through the royal gardens as well as the boat trip but it wasn’t expensive!

Haveli Rooms Can someone help me with How good the haveli rooms are and do they have good views ?
We stayed in November 2018. Our lakeside room was excellent with divan window seat, two double beds, huge bathroom, and a small fountain. I know we had a top level room but I would expect others to be to a very high standard. One or two had a small terrace outside their door. There are several levels to this hotel.

Set Menu. Service is good. Staff is friendly. If you have any specific requirements you can ask in advance. We liked the food during our stay.

I don’t know what renovations are happening but it may be the restaurant reception area as there was talk of improving this area when I was there in December. There is an emphasis in retaining and restoring the originality of this beautiful building so I am sure it will be a sensitive renovation. As for being near attractions, it is a short stroll to the main old city over the bridge and there are wonderful alleys with restaurants and interesting shops all around the hotel itself. You won’t be disappointed.
