The property is in udaipur old city , the tourist location are very near from jagat niwas . The Hotel has it own private Jetty , while chk in and chk out we had received boat service by jagat niwas . It’s an experience.... We had good and a comfortable stay at jagat niwas . The hotel also has rooftop dinner restaurant, the view is just too good . Overall it’s a good property, awaiting to visit udaipur soon and stay again at jagat niwas . Thank you Regards , Sumit
Hi!!! No doubt the property is awesome but need to tell you about the f&b service. The service by the fnb was extremely disaster. We had order couple of things like tea coffee, water & menu card they took almost 45 minutes, after that we had ordered a drink with snacks again they took 40minutes then we had told them & requested to give our order fastly but the fnb service guy told that it would take time then we have asked why so? So his attitude was very very rude & his answer was not at all acceptable.I suggest to others that please visit the property but before visiting give u’r order 2 hr before only!!.It was just a disaster experience at the restaurant. Not upto the mark.
I have visited this property several days back . Property is really amazing ,well maintained , proper heritage place . The view from the terrace is also mesmerising . Now they are following all the safety measures also regarding the corona . The food at the roof top restaurant is really delicious . but the service is not good at all . Specially the person called *Dhanraj* in the restaurant . The most arrogent waiter I have ever seen in my life . He is full of attitude , no manners at all . , Even while serving you he is always busy on his phone . Otherwise as per the food and the ambience property is really good . Would love to visit the property again but next time I don't want Dhanraj to serve me.
We stayed at this hotel for two nights immediately after some of the lockdown measures had been relaxed. We initially had checked into the Radisson Blu, but opted to check out from there and look for a better alternative. Our lucky stars seemed to have aligned, as after a random search, we came across this exceptionally well converted palace hotel. We were two families, totalling 8, and we took the three lake facing suites, which are truly majestic. With a "gunbad"( an area where you can sit directly facing the lake), in each of the rooms, and a breakfast area also similar to that, this hotel is one of the better properties we have stayed in. Despite it not being a 5 star, it could easily beat many of the so called 5 stars in Udaipur. There is a terrace swimming pool, which we didn't use due to Covid, and the views from the terrace are sublime. The hotel is run by the family owners and the hospitality is very overwhelming. Don't miss the chance to feel grand....as this place will surely give you that effect....…
The view from the hotel is out of the world. One can get an awesome view of Lake Pichola and the Lake Palace in particular. The food is great and strongly recommend their continental range such as their speciality fish. The rooms very clean & tastefully furnished. Overall, one of the best vacations we have had in a while.
