Stayed with my family for a night. Staff behavior was friendly and stay was comfortable. Room was very big and neat. More than a couple of charging points inside the room. Near to the Meenakshi temple and lots of shops around to venture. Travel desk was supportive and guidance was helpful.

Hotel is very cheep, but standard is low. Location is very good, near the temple (7 minutes walk). The staff were kind, helpful and very lenient. When we arrived there at 2 am without booking for current night, the hotel staff wake up and gave us the room. Room was big, without A/C but with free wi fi. And it... More

I stayed in Hotel Pearls for a night during my stay in Madurai. The hotel is economical as compared to a lot of other options in the city. Located at a km from the railway station and walking distance from the city bus stand, the hotel is ideal for a short stay. The rooms are big and clean. There are... More

When we stayed, the management was installing cable to the rooms, to provide internet to rooms as well as to lobby. We paid Rs 700 for non-AC double, clean enough, but no insect screens. Bicycle hire just nearby, also TASMAC liquor shops just below (!). Walking distance to the RWS. Friendly management, Their business card has a useful map on... More

Best part about this hotel is, its very near (hardly 5 min walk) to Madurai Railway Station, in the midst of multiple eateries like Sabaris, College House...., 10 min walk to Madura Meenakshi Amman Temple. Lot of shopping options on the way too. Hotel accommodation is decent and service is just OK. Room, linen, AC, TV are OK but probably... More

You can't expect much for the prices Pearls charges. The room was clean, but we did find a number of cockroaches scurrying about. There was also a lack of sheets and no towels. The location is excellent close to the temple, on a quieter side street. The room had a fan and a TV with lots of channels. Hot water... More
