I think this is very well situated in Mathura, with a view on the gaths. The area is peaceful and close to the lively "shopping" street of Mathura (clothes, religious items). And do not forget to attend the fire ceremony at Vishram gath (3 minutes from the hotel)

The staff is pretty friendly. The rooms are good. They switch on the generator when there is no electricity in the village. All these above comments are based on a hotel that is in a village. Dont go with an expectation of a 5 star service. If you are going for a pilgrimige, then this is the ideal place to...

They have two kinds of rooms. The cheapest ones cost 300 but most of them do not have western toilets and are crappy. I paid for a "nice" one with air conditioner that cost 900. I asked if I could leave my big backpacking bag somewhere in the reception after the checkout, since I had a train at 21:00 and...

Expensive for such accommodation. Price 700 rupees + 100 rupees for motobike parking. No hot water, no internet, very spartan room. Big contrast after nice hotel in Tibetan Colony in Delhi with price 650 rupees. In Arga with same price you can found more good accommodation. This hotel only for one night, if not found other. More interesting accommodation in...

Very expensive for what it was ; we paid 600 Rs for a crappy room, non A/C, dirty bathroom, view on a courtyard filled with garbage (we were lucky it didn't smell !!). The owner was nice though, and often asked us if we needed anything, and the food was good. But at our last breakfast, when giving us the...

there has been many bad opinions about this hotel, but hey what do u expect? it's a guest house not a five stars joint so in my case I found the Agra hotel as an excelent option for the budget travellers and the backpackers who expect nothing but a place to crash during the night. My room was fine, humble...

The only words I have for this disgrace of a place are negative! 650rp a night is just ludicrous but they overcharge because it's the only place in this hell hole of a city that seems to take tourists! The whole hotel is filthy! I got there mid afternoon after an overnight train and was given my first room, I...

How this got into the lonely planet I do not know. The bed had blood stains on the sheets, the tv blasted out loud until near mid night. The lock on my door didn't work and required constant faffing to get it locked. However the location is great and food was good. But I would not stay again.

Reserved by internet, we had a dirty room, without window for 500 roupies. The generator sent its smells of diesel to the room. Not nice staff who charged us the fact of having to leave our bags the day of the departure. Restoring without interest. An address to be avoided
