This property is super quirky, amazing little design touches and a lovely spot. You are just a few minutes walk from everything. The rooms are spacious & intriguing, the pool is nice but there is something missing. Breakfast is ok, there is no atmosphere as staff seem extremely timid. A little subservient actually which makes for an uncomfortable meal. There... More

Unfortunately sloppy service and quite bad sound isolation between rooms, you would literally understand every word your neighbor says. The property itself is amazing though. Absolutely stunning style. But that fades given the bad service. Way too low standards in comparison to what the property suggests by means of its looks

The Shaba is a beautiful quaint villa - the rooms are gorgeous (and huge), the courtyard is very pretty, the pool is tucked away in a corner surrounded by trees on one side, and very nice. Staying here, we felt like it was our own private villa, which was very nice. The flip side of this privacy is that we... More

What a great place! The Villa is so nice and well decorated - simply beautiful. The moment we walked in, we felt like home and like we found a secret, hidden place. Everything is well appointed, the rooms are huge and very comfortable. We had first one of the normal rooms and then we moved over to the suite, which... More

We stayed for 3 days at the Shaba. The suites are extremely spacious and beautifully designed. The Hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly and although their English is a bit lacking. Altogether is was a marvellous experience due to the fact that you feel like a millionaire living in a beautiful villa with your own butler.

The Shaba is like no other place I have ever seen and without a doubt it is worth going for the decor alone. The owners have spared no expense to make this French provincial mansion magical. The sarongs and beach bags in the bedrooms, bath salts and lovely cosmetics were a nice touch. We had a wonderful time here and... More

I booked the entire Shaba to celebrate a special birthday and the entire experiece was far beyond my expectations at every point. The design of this property is stunning and yet so comfortable. The facilities are excellent but it is the special attentiion to detail and the service that is memorable. We were pampered all day everyday and the staff could... More

My husband & I were in Bali last October, we decided to give The Shaba a try .... Oh my word, what a fabulous little gem! It is located in a quite busy Jimbaran but when you are in the villa area, you don't hear nothing but peaceful & quiet place! This villa has only Two Junior Suite and one... More

What an amazing villa! From the moment we walked towards the verandah with marble columns & into the ornate courtyard we were treated like a king & queen. We were fortunate to have the villa to ourselves for the first 3 nights & were overwhelmed with the service we received from Mina & the rest of the staff. The bedroom... More

Incredible rooms even too big and nice to be true. Spectacular service and home-made breakfast. Wonderful dedicated pool and kitchen/living room. Very good location, too bad it is not on the beach. Could be very good for ceremonies.

“Any room at The Shaba will be lovely. I don't think you need to worry! I stayed in Shaba 2. But from what I could see (they're all very private so you don't get people snooping around) the others would match my experience.”
