We stayed one night at this homestay. It has a beautiful view on the rice fields, which are only a small hike away and it is highly recommended to take a stroll through the rice fields. The water palace is also within walking distance. In the evening they have a small menu where you can choose from and it was...

Basic Homestay Rooms as to be expected... things work fine and are clean but don't expect too much (this is a hmoestay....). Friendly owner with a good kitchen. MUST do: Walk through the reicefields! It is amzing. We got ourselves a guide from the area who was very knolwedable. He also organized that we could work on the ricefields to...

Yes, the view is post-card gorgeous, but you will have seen comparable views in many spots as you travel to this location from other parts of Bali. Other wise, this place is extremely basic - meaning beds with not a stick of other furnishing, suitcases and clothes on the floor - overpriced, skimpy breakfast and poor food. The owner, while...

Set amidst rice paddies and forest the homestay enjoys a beautiful view from all the five rooms (rooms 1 to 3 offer the very best views). Gede & his family were amicable folk. The food was delicious!! Much more authentic than other homestay foods we have tried. Balinese chicken stew was fragrant and well spiced. Excellent spring rolls. Breakfast is...

You can walk to the stunning waterpalace Tirtagangga. It is just a place to contemplate and relax. We will go back in a heartbeat...

We decided to book this place after all the good reviews we read. When we arrived, the owner waited untill the taxidriver left (it is kind of hard to get there by taxi) and then told us that he did not receive a booking and that he did not work with sites like agoda and booking.com so that we had...

Pondok Batur Indah is a bit hard to find, but cab drivers will know how to find it. The rooms (we had two because of our children aged 6 and 10) are simple but okay. But you don't go there for the rooms. It's the stunning view overseeing the rice fields and valley. Sit during sunset in your chair and...

We stopped at Batur Indah for 3 nights on our way to Amed and stayed with Gede and his family at this clean, comfortable and quiet homestay, with beautiful views of the rice fields and just a short walk to the Water Palace. The rooms were lovely and the food cooked in the restaurant was also delicious and great value....
