Dated accommodation with an urgent need of refurbishment. Location is quite not as close by to Kuta Beach as claimed. There are better hotels with similar price range. But the host/reception was flexible in accommodating our needs and able to advise on our holiday activities.

Matahari resort is great, but the extra rooms in the guesthouse across the street are rather noisy. Rooms are bigger though than in the resort, simple but ok. Only the matrass on the bed was really hard.

What I like: -The location (central Kuta near to shops and beach) Bad: -Dirty -Never cleaned the room/changed bed sheet/towels (literally no housekeeping) -Noisy (lots of drunk whitetrash) -AC didn't work -Water heater didn't work

Stayed here for a night before moving to Sanur for my diving trip. Place is only 7 mins walk to the beach and 2 mins to the shopping/main area of kuta. Nothing fancy but the rooms were great enough for a stopover in Kuta. Staffs were very friendly too. Though there was a blackout for about an hour at night,...

Good guesthouse near the Kuta Beach. Staff of guesthouse is very useful and friendly. However, the wifi didn't work when I stayed there and the toilet is pretty unclean compared with the public photos.

I love it! Btw no parking lot. The road is so crowded and narrow too. Wifi only in 1st floor near the receptionist. We got room no 103 so the wifi great. So narrow but quite comfortable. The room is clean, a lil bit noisy when holiday. The receptionist are friendly. Most important it's near to Kuta beach. You only...

Well, since this is the 2nd time i stayed here. I give 5 stars for the 1st time, I stayed with 2 friends (with extra bed) on 1st floor (few years ago). It was pleasant. Clean room and bathroom, good tv cable, friendly staff. This 2nd time, it's quite disappointing. Me and my family stayed on 3rd floor (with extra...

Nothing special about this place, but it's really close to the airport (10 min taxi ride with no traffic) and basic and clean if you just need a night's sleep before you head out the next day. I thought it was surprisingly clean/nice for the price (super cheap.) The rooms are pretty tiny but the beds are comfy and you...

I was in Kuta for one night en route to the Gili Islands and wasn't looking for anything fancy. I was able to book in advance and pay with my credit card which was a bonus. The staff were nice and helpful. The room was basic, but the room was clean. Pretty similar to the majority of guesthouse rooms across...

Was worried that this place would be any good given it was around $18 Australian per night but i was pleasantly surprised. The air cond worked well, heaps of channels on the TV, bathroom a bit dated but was clean enough and 2 bottles of water a day. Need to take your own towel. I've stayed at $40 a night...
