We went here over the new year period and enjoyed our stay a lot. Good for relaxing by the pool and 10mins walk to the beach and the mall. They have lovely garden there and always kept clean. The only reason this is not 5* rating is because the wifi didn't really work. We would get about 5 minutes on...

Stayed a week here, and would like to add some information for potential guests. First, this is budget standard accomodation. Some rooms are bare bones, with twin beds, a ceiling fan, cold water, no toilet paper, no soap, no towel, so come prepared. These rooms are priced at 125,000Rupiah, and are in the building opposite the pool and the building...

This hotel is budget. Limited air-conditioned & doublebed rooms. Cold showers & WiFi is a bit in & out, also no TV's or fridges in rooms. Great position close to mini mart, laundry, good bars, eating places & massage spas though. Grounds & pool are kept clean & tidy, staff are helpful & friendly. Ok for people who are looking...

This place was really nice. We stayed for a few nights and I really loved it there. It is close to everything but not on the main tourist spots so it is quiet aswell. I really can recommend this place if you are looking for a simple, nice and quiet place for low budget!

Mekar Jaya is located Right in the centre of Kuta, hidden in An alleyway, i found it because of a Blue sign above that is hung above the Mini Mart. The complex itself is nice and quiet with a Decent amount of green and of course the swimming pool, which is nice. The room i had was without AC, but...

I am suprised About the amount of guests here. Becaus the place is big, nice located and has a awsome swimming pool. The rooms are oke, but can Get Some improvements. Airco should be nice. But for the price you pay its still reasonable. But this hostel is just cheap and good. Its a budget place. Good price for what...

The best place in center of Kuta for this money. Good space with green grass and swimming pool. Place for breakfast has Wi-Fi, tables and chairs so you can use it if you need to work on laptop. Very simple but clean rooms. Polite and good stuff.

I have been to this hotel several times during my visits to Bali, and I never get bored of it. It has a swimming pool and serves breakfast in the mornings, and it's also close to the beach. It's close to Legian street, and close to the shopping venues. Definitely would stay more nights there when I come back to...

I arrived late in the evening and was a bit com boggled after 36 hours of travel time. However the staff was helpful and immediately available. I had one of the "basic" rooms so for those of you that don't know what that means: come prepared! You will need a towel, toilet paper and the ability to shower without hot...

Mekar Jaya is my choice of stay in Bali for the last 3 years. Never any problems, friendly staff, spacious place, swimming pool, light breakfast (fruit, jaffle, tea/ coffee), free WiFi There are 3 buildings - one is old and run down a bit (beds not as comfy, mossie nets at the windows broken), two are fairly new (beds alright)...

“It may be a difficult to find, it's on Benesari Street, behind the Mini Mart... if you're 'lost' ask at the Mini Mart, you are 10 seconds away, so close. Sky Garden is only 10 min walk away if you're a partier... easy to crawl back to Mekar Jaya! wink wink”
