Huge room with beautiful parquetry flooring, comfortable beds, great air-con and a lovely balcony over looking gorgeous, lush tropical gardens. This is one of the original Kuta hotels with beautiful wood trimmings, older bathrooms with a bath. It is spotlessly clean.
Bintang Bali is currently being renovated. I am sure the upgrade will be wonderful but I feel a hint of nostalgia for the lovely old rooms with their solid wood and marble finishes, they have served their guests well over the years.
The resort is huge with a massive pool just steps from the beach. We had a wonderful time, there were plenty of sun lounges under shady palm trees and unlimited towels provided.
The Balinese staff were so friendly and helpful especially Pak Wayan Kariyasa who picked us up from the airport ( free transport to and from the airport!). He provided great suggestions for our visit and helped me to track a lost bag.
The booking process was easy, with prompt responses from Ms Suwini to my requests for information. Check-in was seamless with a delicious fresh juice.
Breakfast was included in the very reasonable tariff and there was a huge range to choose from; nasi kunning, cap cay, ikan/ayam goreng, pancakes, waffles, eggs freshly prepared, croissants and pastries, fruit, salad and most importantly, great coffee! There were plenty of waiters and waitresses on hand to assist with any requests. It was nice to see the pork bacon located outside, well away from the other food, this was appreciated by the Muslim people in our group.
Check-out was also easy and assistance with heavy bags was provided.
We really enjoyed our stay and will be back to check out the newly renovated rooms although I am secretly hoping they will keep one of the old rooms just for me!

Booked this property as I have stayed in the past. I always book the 100 sqm breezes suite as it has an amazing balcony and view of the ocean and pool. The room is very spacious with a separate lounge room and a second toilet, the room also has a full sized lounge suite and a dining table. Customer service was really good and one night after getting home late the air conditioner would not work properly and after reporting it the maintenance personnel came immediately to fix it around midnight which was fantastic as I did not want to wait until morning for it to be fixed. Pool area could do with some pressure cleaning and breakfast could be improved, but these are only small issues as the hotels in Bali are still just reopening and I imagine they all have minor issues that will be resolved in a few weeks. This property is also great because it is a genuine beachfront hotel with no roads needing to be crossed to access the beach and the boardwalk. The gardens are also very relaxing, shady, cool and has some squirrel type animals in the trees. Also the hotel has a restaurant very close to the beach. Would definitely stay here again and recommend the suite if it is within your accommodation budget.

First time staying at this resort and definitely won’t be my last.
I had been in contact with the hotel back and forward asking for info on rooms, if I could have a room near my friends and some other requests, all emails were responded to promptly and upon check in I met with Paramita who helped me check in and confirmed all requests and even sorting out the final details on a surprise room set up for my nephew.
She is an absolute asset to the business.
I checked in to room 1333 which was in the top floor and on a corner room which was near the stairwell and not too far from to pool.
The room was clean, spacious, comfy and the views from my room were overlooking the garden, pool to the right.
The pool area was huge and I spent a whole day lounging by it, the pool area staff were helpful but hard to find someone to help when needed a drink or something to eat, no the less nothing was too hard for them but the prices were steep ($22 chicken sate and coke).
The buffet breakfast had enough options available, I just stuck with eggs on toast but got my eggs made at the egg station and ordered a latte.
The grounds were huge and didn’t feel crowed, people were nice and respectful no drunk bums or anything like that.
Overall I enjoyed my stay here, at the quieter end of Kuta easy walk to Discovery or hop on a Gojek

Recently stayed at Bali Bintang Resort (Jan 2020 for 7 days) and regretted making the booking from the moment we stepped out of the Airport Transfer Van. Family of 4 looking to enjoy Bali once again for our annual getaway, have done so for the past 5 years and decided to give this place a try.

Staff on arrival were rude and not interested, we had made prior arrangements in preparation for the trip (room layout and location) on file but not followed by office staff.

Best place in the Hotel is the Lobby Restrooms, modern, clean and incredible air conditioning that keeps the room colder than the in-room bar fridge, I was tempted to drag a chair in there and a box of Bintang’s to enjoy but the family wouldn’t follow me lol

We didn’t eat any dinners at the Resort due to the lack of confidence in the place, drinks were expensive and not kept cold. Would you believe they name the place Bali Bintang however do not provide any beer / stubby coolers!

My Review
Customer Service = Very Poor
Hotel = Old and dated, needs some money spent
Kids Club = like a scene from Chernobyl Hospital waiting room, even the wall paint was screaming to exit the building / kids didn’t stay longer than 20 mins for the entire stay.
Rooms = Ok
Breakfast = Ok
Pool = very big and 80% deep, not great for kids under 12
Location = Good

Overall 2/5

First Resort in Bali that I have observed with no staff in Pool Bar, incredible that during open hours throughout the day (plenty of customers sitting around waiting) you have to complain to general gardening staff to attract the attention of someone to man the pool bar, their loss as I would have easily spent another $300 during the week should the bar have been staffed properly.

Wont be coming back to this place.

The location is nice beautiful scenery great pool amazing location . Staff were very friendly.

Negatives the room are very dated
Bed was uncomfortable very hard so were the pillows . Asked for softer pillows advised housekeeping would bring but the never did
Smoke smell in the room really bad
Aircon didn’t work real well
Breakfast catered more for asians could do a big more variety
2 spas 1 was green and 1 was so hot you could not even enter and I like hot water.

Could be an amazing hotel with upgrades done.

My wife and I decided that we wanted to have a romantic holiday after we got married and decided to take some family members with us to enjoy the moment together. From start to finish of the holiday we have been very well looked after. We booked directly with the resort from their website and they acknowledged that this was our first time accommodating us with private transfers to and from the hotel. We had some small concerns that we raised with the resort and throughout the stay the hotel did what they could to support us. The resort has a well maintained pool including a bar that you can enjoy a cold drink taking in the real holiday moment. If you're just wanting to relax and enjoy some music the wharf restaurant puts on live music that you can sit back and relax to. Whilst there some holiday goers decided to dance to some romantic music that had been requested to be played by the band. The location of Bingtang Bali Resort is in the heart of busy Kuta with off the road parking for an extra amount of privacy from street market sellers. Room service tries to do the best to accommodate for most situations. Please ensure to let management know if required as they will go out of their way to assist where they can. Make sure to give this resort a go when visiting Bali.

Stayed here twice during recent trip to Bali. Great rooms, lush gardens, above and beyond staff, located on the beach, amazing food and cocktails. The hotel is within walking distance of numerous restaurants, shops, a temple and a very short hop in a taxi to the airport. So accommodating for early check ins and able to use all facilities on day of check out until you leave, they even stored my luggage when I went off on a trip for a few days! And, the best bit, ridiculous value for money! Booked through both Agoda and Booking.com for different stays and don’t think I stayed in such a luxury resort at such a great rate during a 5 week trip to Bali. Highly recommend!

Spent 5 nights here. 10 minutes away from DPS airport. We booked a family room but on the 4th night we switched to a connecting room. Air con was weak and warm in family room and my boys got badly bitten by bugs or mosquito on their face and legs. Very itchy. There were centipedes and millipedes probably because family room was located in the ground floor....Connecting room was so much better on the 3rd floor. Air con was good and comfortable. My boys didn't get bitten . Wifi was acceptable. Breakfast just average. Housekeeping usually finished cleaning up our room after our daily breakfast. Staff at reception especially Agung a big thank you for assisting in our change of room. Staff from The Whaft Alex was a friendly guy we had some dinners and lunches there. Food was big portion and good, delicious. Staff at breakfast and pool area they were incredibly friendly. Never hesitate in theirbig warm smile. Nothing to fault in this hotel except mosquito and bugs.

We had booked two rooms here and were not disappointed. We booked in advance via an online agent at a low price. I have stayed in this area of Tuban numerous times and this was the first time at Bintang Bali Resort. The location is great, right on the beach, a short stroll to the local warungs on the beach at Jerman Beach. The resort is surrounded by local shops, restaurants, Lippo Mall, Discovery mall and a short taxi ride to central Kuta, Legian, Seminyak etc. There are plenty of local drivers available for day trips. Breakfast at the resort was a good choice, some variation each morning. There is a large swimming pool, swim up bar and large garden area. Staff are lovely and helpful. Our two rooms were well maintained, nice linen, very clean and well serviced. I would say the resort is rather quiet and relaxing and good value for money. We would stay again.

Stayed here for 8 nights in a interconnecting room for our daughter. It was the first time for our daughter (18) so wanted her to experience a Bali resort with beach out the back and for her to feel safe. Security is everywhere so not a problem. First time for us staying at Bintang & we were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived until we departed we were treated very well. Staff are amazing & very polite. The resort pool & swim up bar fantastic. Breakfast very filling with big variety. Health club as well. This resort is very quiet at night. Close to all the action of Kuta & it’s night life.
