I stayed at this small boutique hotel last October for 7 days and have booked again for a 9 day stay in 2 weeks time.
It is so close to all main attractions, however feels miles away. It is quiet and relaxing.
Beds are fantastic (4 poster)with mosquito nets, which I love and its tastefully decorated. Felt like I was in luxury. Bathrooms are always clean and well maintained, cold air conditioner and great hot showers.
Rooms come with TV (not that I use it), fridge, blue tooth, kettle and tea and coffee making supplies and water bottles always replenished each day.
My coffee place I go to daily is only 2 mins walk and my yoga studio is 8 mins walk. So convenient.
Surrounded by restaurants or request food in room. One evening, I asked for a fruit plate early in morning before my class..it wasn't a problem.
Love this great little place, the couple who manage it are so friendly as are all the staff.
Can't recommend highly enough and look forward to returning. 🙏💜
P.s Only downfall would be no swimming pool, but wasn't a big issue to me. Rest of benefits of this place outweighed that for me. Definitely was quality at fraction of the price.

This is in a great spot in Ubud. The entrance to the accommodation is actually up an alley way, it’s easy to find when you know what you are looking for. The people were so lovely and accommodating and the setting is generally very quiet and peaceful. The air conditioner works well but the rooms are not well sound proofed so as a light sleeper, you can be disturbed early as locals start their day. Breakfast was basic but tasty.

If you want to be close to the action but not the noise, this is the spot!
Lovely hostess and good breakfast (only served 8-10, so tough if going on a tour).
Lovely bed, fridge and kettle!
Felt perfectly safe walking in dark asI stayed in town for dancing!

Stayed with family of 5 at this wonderful private property managed by a lovely couple.
Strategically located within walking distances to Ubud Central market and many many shops. A peaceful place amidst in a busy area of Ubud. A very clean and well maintained accomodation. We had our good rest and sleep every night of our stay here. A highly recommended place to stay and will definitely return to stay here.

Griya Sriwedari double booked my stay and moved me to another hotel owned by a family member. While the hotel I was moved to was clean it was very dark and old and further from the location I had wanted to stay. Definitely not somewhere I would have ever chosen to stay. I booked two months prior to traveling and confirmed with Griya Sriwedari a week prior to arriving and at that time they should have advised me so I could have booked more suitable accommodation.

Very nice place and beautiful people. The boss of this boutique hotel is very helpful and gentle to give us advice since the first day in Ubud , our wake up, has been with the earthquake. He find a back up solution for the night without a booking. We stay in junior suite and all was superb. Peaceful place in the heart of Ubud. Absolutely suggested

Right in the centre of Ubud yet feels very removed from the hustle and bustle of the main drag. Extremely peaceful and relaxing accommodation with a lovely garden. The room was large and clean with working AC and large 5star comfortable beds and a good warm shower. Within walking distance of the main palace just 5 mins away and the ridge walk and monkey forest are 20-25 mins.
The retired man and his wife who run this place are very friendly. We only stayed two nights but could of stayed longer. Would recommend this place to all age groups and would certainly stay here again.

We have stayed here two weeks, and found it to be very comfortable and quiet. Great mattress, best-working toilet we have ever had in a hotel, well-working AC and fan, mosquito netting over the bed, small fridge, closet, large terrace and comfy sofa which overlooks a small garden with trees (pomelo, guava, mango). The hosts were very welcoming and caring. However, there were a few minor issues: the wash basin had only cold water, the shower really needs a make-over (a glass partition wall and door, more light), and there was no manual to the Smart-TV (I didn't use it at all, just couldn't manage it no matter what I tried). My husband loved having nasi for breakfast (extra spicy at his request), I had an veggie omelet a few times but there was too much oil in it to my liking, so bought yoghurt at the large Bintang supermarket (take a taxi) for breakfast. Laundry can be done for a good price, the hotel will take care of this for you. There was a coat stand on the terrace, but that didn't work very well for laundy I had done myself (wrong shape, and it was knocked over several times by the wind). We've sat on the terrace for hours: it's very shady and so not very hot. The walkway to the entrance/ex it was very good (unlike the rest of Ubud, which has horrible sidewalks).
Nearby, we had dinner at Fair Warung Bale and coffee at Anomali - both are highly recommended. You will also find the small but lovely Luweng shop nearby (great for non-touristy souvenirs past the entrance), a branch of Periplus (books); there's an ATM nearby at a supermarket (there's two supermarkets next to each other, go to the one on the right).
This small-scale hotel is highly recommended to those looking for tranquility and who don't mind not having a pool. However, we do not recommend Ubud: there's no public transportation and taxi drivers will not take you to any place they consider to be nearby, sidewalks are absolutely horrible, the worst we have ever seen.

Loved this place, quiet and peaceful. Up an alleyway off the main road and you arrive at a little sanctuary in quite a busy area. Staying In a Junior Suite with a backyard of tropical trees, plants and flowers. Staff are wonderful and deliver breakfast to your table out on the verandah. A very comfortable sleep in a 4 poster bed with side netting to keep any mozzies out. Head out to the road and turn left or right to some great restaurants. Only 500m away to the markets. Love Ubud and wouldn't stay anywhere else.
