Santra Putra 2 Guest House with the Karja Art Space is a fabulous place to stay. The breakfasts are delightful with fresh fruit and tasty food, eaten on a long communal table looking out into the luscious garden. The setting is marvelous. This is a place where you actually get to know a Balinese family and get to know more...

Stayed here for a week doing a retreat. The accommodation was lovely, very clean and the gardens lush. It is a family run business and the people working there were always friendly and helpful. Karja who owns this is an artist and has a gallery where you can view his fabulous artwork. His art and skill as a teacher take...

I loved the 6 weeks I stayed here in 2012 for a yoga teacher training. I love the family that owns Santra Putra, and they take great care of the grounds. I felt very safe and comfortable here. The location is a doable walk into the hussle of town, but I enjoy this area of Ubud much more. Amazing walks...

I spent four nights here and easily could have enjoyed longer. As the bungalows have small kitchens and are not far from the Bintang supermarket this would be a great place to stay longer term. The bungalows are clean and open, most have upstairs views of the pleasant garden and you can hear birds singing all day. Good breakfasts and...

This was our first time in Bali. We wanted a memorable trip and a taste of local life in Ubud. On a friend's recommendation we booked Santra Putra Guest House. The property is located in a pretty village area, some 15 minutes walk from the main street of Ubud. We enjoyed the simple breakfasts, traditionally furnished rooms and wandering around...

Peaceful guesthouse - very welcoming feel and beautiful surroundings. Had a lovely couple of breakfasts there. Family and their pets are lovely and laidback. Beautiful rooms. No a/c but there is a ceiling fan and is was totally sufficient for the time of year I travelled. Beautiful clean rooms with a traditional feel. Great for couples or group stays.

If I would visit (most probably I will) ubud again, I will stay defenetly in santra putra. I think if we visit a place which is different where we come from, we should try to manage to eat to sleep to wisit autentic places in a high quality....that is exactly what I experienced in there!!!!! I highly reccomend It!

I have stayed at Santra Putra Guest House 3 times since 2012. Each time it has been as part of a retreat with friends. I have always felt welcome and taken care of thanks to the very family oriented nature of Santra Putra. Over the years the surrounding rice fields have been developed, but the ambience of this accommodation continues...

I wished I could have stayed here longer! Santra Putra has a lovely and serene garden and is located in the middle of the rice fields. Here I found the peacefulness that I was looking for, in only a 15 minute walk from the center of Ubud. I stayed in a beautiful and clean room with open air bathroom and...

The ultimate city detox. Situated in a garden drenched compound which attracts quiet life-loving travellers. There's a big emphasis on yoga and meditation (I was there 2 weeks on a meditation retreat) but all are welcome. It's in a small village, about 5min walk from Ubud, just far enough away to completely leave the noise of traffic and be enveloped...
