We traveled with 5 children and loved this place. We had a bungalow and a normal room. They were clean, lovely garden setting and good breakfast. Down side the pool was green ( as most of the reviews have referred too). The shuttle worked at all times up to 5pm. Great stay for a family.

The staff were not very friendly compared to all the Balinese people we have met. We booked a family bungalow and when we went into the room it smellef of mould. There was mould on the fridge, no glass in the top Windows for mosquitos to get in, floors were dirty and bathroom run down. We asked for another room.... More

The service at Lokasari is lovely - staff were most helpful in every way. We initially stayed in a room near the front of the complex which was noisy and not so good - we requested another room after our first night and they shifted us to one of the rooms overlooking the pool which was much more pleasant. The... More

I should have gone with my first instinct when planning my dream vacation, but I was wow'd by the great value. The first red flag was that they don't have a working email, believe my I tried several times to contact them just to ask questions and such. Well, we finally arrived at 11:30 pm exhausted from a cancelled flight... More

We were wowed by pictures of this place and looking forward to a bit of luxury. We didn't mind that it was a little out of the centre as free shuttles were offered. However, when we went to enquire about getting into town we were told that there was no driver available and they weren't sure when there would be.... More

While a little outside Ubud main street, these bungalow guest houses are true to the Balinese style of hotel that we were looking for. Staff were helpful and drove us in to town when we needed to go. The warung across the street sold yummy interesting food that my travel companions enjoyed but I loved the Lokasari menu. The banana... More

We only stayed 2 nights in Lokasari but had time to enjoy it. We were almost the only customers when we were there so we had the swimming pool for ourselves (which by the way is great). Our bungalow was very spacious and clean, the shower was good (hot water). The breakfast was amazing (pineapple pancakes and coffee every morning... More

Made up of 12 bungalow arranged around a traditional Chinese influenced court yard, the centre piece being the swimming pool and pergola style chill out barn. The grounds, and the plant life is well maintained and well balanced, an exquisite place to be, so tranquil with wonderful areas with cushions to just chill out. One of the bungalows houses the... I booked a standard twin. The good: nicely decorated rooms, massive bathroom with shower, bath and natural lighting in the ceiling. Fantastic spa with reasonable pricing. FREE shuttle service every 90 minutes. Beautiful grounds. Private patio with table and 2 chairs. Simple breakfast included. Some handicraft shops, warungs and mini-marts nearby. The not so good: deterioration of furniture and buildings,... More
