We have passed a very nice stay in this hotel. The breakfast is just outstanding and the rooms spacious. The highlight of our stay was the visit of a local house next to the hotel. Our guide, Puspa, was extremely nice and very knowledgeable. We can only recommend this hotel and the visit of the local house with Puspa.

Hotel's Favourite
I simply can not describe this hotel. I can’t find the words a part from “ everything about it is perfect”. If 6 stars existed it would be exactly that. The rooms are sumptuous, spacious and luxurious. The bedding is like sleeping on clouds. The setting is so peaceful and tropical, the vegetation dense and perfectly groomed. We had the chance of having a monkey come to greet us on the terrace the first day. The service is just impeccable, every single person you pass will greet you with sincere kindness. Whatever we asked for was dealt with very quickly and with a genuine desire to please. This is just typical of everyone in Bali. The air is filled with amazing scents of incense coming from the offerings left. It is simply impossible to not be immersed into their culture. The restaurant’s are very good especially the breakfast offering a wide choice including authentic local dishes. There are two pool areas which are beautiful and intimate and very well kept. All of the staff without exception were amazing. The spa also is incredible offering excellent services. There are lots of things to do in the area including cultural and exciting activities like quad, rafting and an elephant sanctuary. Ubud is the cultural center of Bali specializing in silver jewelry, painting and batik painting. An absolute must is the purification blessing at the temple Tirta Ampul. Incredible. We will definitely be going back next year. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Dear Abigail T., Sincere gratitude for your time to share such thorough description and wonderful review regarding your overall experience at Kappa Senses Ubud. We are extremely delighted and honored to know that your stay at our brand new lucury French resort-spa was the best stay experience you’ve ever had. As mentioned, our suites and villas are spacious and luxurious with a blend of traditional and historical touches throughout the resort, completed with Ubud’s peaceful ambiance surrounding it. Glad to know that you enjoyed the spa treatment at OmTara Spa by Clarins and discovered the cultural excursions are immensely integrated into Kappa Senses Ubud’s philosophies. Thank you as well for highlighting our Anak Kappa (team members) for their attentive service and professionalism. We will definitely continue to give the best experience to our guests. We cannot thank you enough and we hope to welcome you back to Kappa Senses Ubud next year. Kind regards, Keluarga Kappa – the entire team of Kappa Senses Ubud

We stayed at Kappa Senses for 7 nights and it exceeded every expectation! We have never had such a wonderful hotel experience and most probably never will again! Because it was unbeatable! All the staff are incredibly friendly, endearing and polite - and went out of their way to fulfil every wish without being asked ❤️ The complex is embedded in nature and everything is perfectly thought out. The breakfast is the best we've ever had! We only left yesterday and already miss the Kappa Senses! Thank you so much for making this wonderful holiday possible for us. Theresa&Johanna

Kappa Senses as I understand has been operating for about 1.5 years and what they have achieved in such a short period of time is a credit to the owners ,management and staff . The resort is on the outskirts of Ubud , away from the crowds and hustle and bustle . If you want to be really close to the city centre perhaps the location won’t suit you . I loved the serenity and isolation of the place and thought that the shuttle service offered by the resort was a great complimentary service provided for guests . A 20 minute trip to Ubud . The staff are well trained and their hospitality is typically Balinese . Friendly , smiling and accommodating. The room I booked was small but functionally efficient and overlooked the river pool . An evening turndown service was provided and the room was made up quite early in the day . Of particular note was the quality of the therapists I had at the Spa . I had just come from a highly rated 5 star resort in Nusa Dua and the therapists at Kappa Senses were so much more professional . A Balinese massage followed the next day by a hair cream bath , given by 2 different therapists scored a 10/10 from me . I wish I could remember the names of the therapists . The restaurants were efficient and the service and food was very good . It was fantastic to have a touch of France on the menus and at breakfast ! There was a minor negative issue which needed the F&B Manager involved but I was pleased that the issue was resolved quickly and amicably and I appreciated that a resolution was found . I did find it curious though that in the breakfast restaurant they readily provided an excellent coffee service but if you wanted tea , you needed to self serve from an urn of hot water . It reminded me of my hostel days and didn’t quite measure up to 5 star standards. Perhaps wait staff serving “to order “ tea in individual tea pots and small milk jugs might be more appropriate

Would definitely stay again. Especially loved the spa and breakfast inclusions at the facility. Special shout out to the cleaner who removed the MEGA Beatle trapped in our room

This place is an experience, a dream come true. Ultimate comfort in the middle of the jungle, an amazing sunset spot from the SPA but even in the villas. There are so many things I loved here, that I did not even think I would, like making Balinese offerings, yoga, and taking a cooking class, that leaving the place was sad and I couldn't wait to go back. Sleep quality is out of this world, better than at home, the bathroom is another experience, I could live in it, and the mini-bar has the best chocolate ever.

This place was one of the most beautiful places i have ever stayed. Sooo happy when u hear the morning birds and bug sounds in the rice fields. It is located in the middle of the rice fields so the view is perfect. Also the food in the restaurant was wonderful it made me speechless. There are 3 great places to have a meal and they all have different atmosphere so its fun to compare them together while staying! Ive gone all three of them and the service of the staffs and the food was perfect. Stayed here for 3nights and i still didnt want to leave here. Sad that i have to.. we had a free photo session in the morning, and he was very professional and we enjoyed it so much. Got free photos too! Haha! We can have free yoga class too! Besides, there are many other interesting programs for visitors so no time to get bored! The pool was clean and well managed all the time. Also i liked about the housekeeping twice a day. (Morning& Night) They took well care for our room conditions, and always asked if we needed anything else for the comfortable stay. I loved it so much so i am now introducing this place to all of my friends in Korea. I wish more people know this wonderful place and visit more! I will definitely visit here again with my family later! And thank you so much for ur kind service Zen. For that we had a great time in the Kappa Senses. We will always remember the happy moments we had here.

They really take care of the room and hotel Installations. All the staffs are friendly and helpful, we were greeted by Puspa at the receptionist and she made all the check in and check out process seamless. They have beautiful views in the middle of the rice fields, private, expensive food with services fee, unbelievable good breakfast, perfect for honeymoon.

We booked to stay at Kappa Senses Ubud as part of our holiday. And the first impression is fabulous, what you’d expect from a 5* establishment in Bali. Zen the customer manager kindly showed us around the hotel and to our room. We initially booked a garden view private pool villa, but after staying 1 night we thought we would ask if we can have an upgrade room to a rice field view villa. Daisy the lady who works at reception is so helpful, she moved us to another villa with the rice field view. It was absolutely breathtaking. So both rooms are really spacious, the rice field view room is a little bigger but not by much. Rooms are spotlessly cleaned, bed and pillows are so comfortable. There is also a huge bathtub which is amazing. We ordered room service on our first night as we arrived quite late, food was beautiful, still nice and hot when it arrived. We also ate at the restaurant and the food is always really nice. Prefect if you don’t fancy venturing outside. Breakfast is fab! Western breakfast is cooked to order (sausages, bacon, eggs and pancakes). A great tasty selection of Asian food too. There is something for everyone. There are free shuttle buses to Ubud centre, but getting a taxi is just as easy. There is nothing you can pick at this hotel. Staff are all wonderful, helpful and polite, they are ready to help at any moment. We will definitely stay here again. Just wish we can stay here for longer.
