We stayed here two years ago and it was perfect, but our recent stay was definitely not the same. The facilities (cabin, restaurant area, pool, view) are all excellent still, but it was really brought down by poor service and poor food. Perhaps the fact that the owner was not there had something to do with it. Quick rundown of...

The walk from the hotel into Ubud centre (25-35 mins) is stunning as is the view from the beautiful infinity pool area. The nicest pool for the money of anywhere I've ever stayed. Very friendly hostess and basic but clean and spacious rooms. Nice communal outdoor area. WiFi a bit ropey but there are many better things to be doing...

We stayed 2 nights at Sunset Hill. 5 stars for the BEAUTIFUL view! 5 stars for the AWESOME bed (soooo comfortable) and the nice room. You can also walk a really beautiful trail to the city centre (about 25min walking). Karsa Spa is also next door. 2 stars for the breakfast (for the fruit plate they had only banana and...

Fair warning, this place is not pristine decadent, but it is nice. The rooms are big and the bed's are comfy, but it's a little rough around the edges, for example the shower wasn't great, water went everywhere and build up in the shower, as it wasn't going down the plughole very quickly. You were also very much left to...

Our Bali trip was definitely one for the books. Staying at sunset hill made it even more memorable. From the first Hello, to the Good-bye, Anita and her team at Sunset hill went out of there way to make sure we had a carefree and relaxing time. The room was beautiful. but i must say the infinity pool overlooking the...

My friend have booked this hotel in May and we were both so excited and have been waiting to stay at the sunset hill since May! When we got our driver to drive us there... which was around 9ish... we didn't get there for a while from town because it was still all the way up in a hilly area....

Beautiful hotel, amazing service, great breakfast and wonderful massage. Ideally located outside of Ubud (which is traffic choked & a bit exhausting), this hotel is an oasis of calm with a beautiful pool & clean large rooms. Felt like we were staying in a private villa! The cocktails are great too.

We stayed 2 nights from 13th Sep. The pool has got a so nice view with the rain forest. The hotel is located a bit far from the main road but it is calm and peaceful and the rice terrace and trekking course are very near. We had the Balinese massage in the hotel and the prices are reasonable and...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Sunset Hill for three nights while visiting Ubud. We had booked the hotel because of the wonderful reviews, but our stay exceeded our expectations. The grounds are absolutely stunning (clearly), but the Trip Advisor pictures of the sleeping rooms so not do them justice! The bungalow we stayed in was lovely, featuring a full...

Peaceful place with beautiful pool! I and my friend were looking for place with infinity pool. It was really great with reasonable price! Location wise must need taxi service (pretty expensive)/or scooter(cheaper). Pretty clean and people are nice! They provide basic breakfast which is good too! Wifi is not strong but you can connect at lobby as well.
