The hotel is at the southern end of Ubud, marking the border between the "tourist area" and the real indonesia. So you might be walking close to half an hour to the center of Ubud (or rent a scooter). However, there are plenty of restaurants and shops all along the way. The resort is right at the main street, which... More

Honestly I was prepared for the worst after reading some negative review about the resort. Yet I was so compelled to try this place since the pictures were stunning. Turn out to be so grateful to book there. I traveled by myself so I chose the cheapest one. It was IDR 440k from a major online travel apps. Soon as... More

Please read this and you'll thank me... FIRST PART OF THE SCAM Online cancelation policy is the charge of one night if you cancel. Before you can see the room, when you arrive at the resort they immediately charge you at least one more night (they ask you if you want to pay the whole stay). Saying that they didn't... More

I stayed in a 1 bedroom private villa with pool at this resort and could not fault it. The villa was fantastic situated on the rice fields, with nature all around, beautifully furnished and the pool was fantasy. Breakfast in the main villa everyday was fresh and lovely. Met lots of interesting people during our stay at Agung Raka

Stayed for two nights at this place. Booked it because reviews said it was good, and it had a good location. So, where to begin. Check in went smooth. The staff where lovely. We got escorted to our room by a golf car, and we also got a free upgrade. What a nice surprise! Since it still was very hot... More

Clean rooms fairly priced. Nice to have fresh juices by the swimming pool. Rice Fields surrounding the rooms bring the feeling you came for. They offer scooter rental as well as other tours arrangements, try the diner at bebek bengil few blocks ahead. Recommended

Dislikes: Briefly, no hot water. Saw two cockroaches in the room. Room was dingy - too dark for me, both daylight and nightlight. Walls looked repaired but not painted over. Changed hotels after 1 night for these reasons. Likes: Loved the atmosphere - very Balinese, gorgeous grounds overlooking rice paddies. Staff, especially in the restaurant, were AWESOME - made me... Very nice. We have been upgraded in the villas. However we have used two times the hotel's drivers to go to Sidemen. The first time he drove us on dirty road arguing Sidemen changed and there was no longer rice but only corn and flowers culture. We finally ended up on walking on a path during the bath time of...
