Location is perfect, 2 minutes walking to ubud palace and ubud market. We were 3 people sharing a "house". The room was perfect: double bed with mosquito net and extra bed on floor, but very confortable. The toilet was the worse room, but good enough. Price was 350,000 rupies/night, so a bit more than 100,000/person, breakfast included and very nice:...

I just loved this place! We moved to this hotel after staying at a much more expensive place with a pool for one night and deciding that it just wasn't worth the money. We wandered up jalan kajeng to catch the sunset over the rice paddies and ended up reserving shanti homestay for the rest of our stay. The lovely...

We stayed here while visiting Bali. Perfect room with one double bed and one single. Clean bathroom with hot shower. A balcony outside with breakfast table and laundry rack. After visiting Lombok we decided to go back to this place! Love the included breakfast and the family. The wifi works 95% percent of the time. This is then also the...

Lovely traditional Bali house complex, with verandahs, lots of bonsai plants and a large temple on the property. Ketut, the landlady is very gracious and friendly and cooks up lovely breakfast omelettes and sandwiches. Close to the entrance of the lovely Jalan Kajeng and very close to the ubud palace and water palace, where the nightly performances happen. Right in...

We loved the big room / house very much. It had a kitchen in the back and a big veranda in the front - stunningly beautiful and temple like. The family is kind and breakfast was plenty and tasty. The bed was good and the shower was really (!) hot but good to regulate. The bath was a simple but...

Love love love Shanti! Our room with the four poster bed and bug net was lovely. The bed can squeak quite a lot if u get it moving. ;) There is a small kitchen area out back, fridge and water dispenser. Lovely front porch (watch out for the ants), and beautiful temple in the property. For some reason there are...
