We spent a wonderful 4 days at The Dwaraka. The room was gorgeous with wooden panels, a luxurious bathroom and outdoor showers to accompany the private pool. The hotel provided a water dispenser and flasks to take water out rather than adding to the mountain of single use plastic and the toiletries were topped up in lovely pottery containers. The breakfasts were delicious and freshly cooked including fresh smoothies and individually made coffees. Everyone was so helpful and there were numerous shuttles into the city as well as our own phone so that we could call when we needed picking up. Everyone was so helpful and thoughtful. We had a wonderful outing with Gin who was helpful, informative and great company. The hotel really does deserve its reputation as a boutique hotel - thank you.

Dear Ms. 604nikki, Warm greeting from Dwaraka The Royal Villas, Thank you for choosing us as your holiday accommodation on your last holiday in Bali. We do happy to know that you enjoyed your stay. Since a couple of months ago, we did not serve a plastic bottle anymore in the room and change it with a water dispenser. This is a part of our program to preserve nature and support our government's effort to preserve nature. Thank you also for sharing your positive comment on this page, we do appreciate it. We wish you will consider us again on your future holiday plan in Bali and we do look forward to welcoming you again at Dwaraka The Royal Villas. Sincerely yours, I Wayan Yudianta General Manager

My husband and I booked a one bedroom pool villa in mid January.
The welcome drink tasted fun.
The receptionist was fluent in English but with strong Indonesian accent. Not a bad thing. I found it interesting. She was organized, patient and always speak with beautiful smile on her face.
The bellboy was polite and helpful.
We experienced the spa service in Dwaraka. Each customer can enjoy a 15-min feet massage for free. My husband and I booked a Balinese spa and an Aroma spa. They provide a disposable underwear for each one of us. The masseurs were gentle and thorough.
The receptionist gave us a special cellphone which can be used to contact the front desk to make arrangements on shuttling. The receptionist was proactive. She searched the restaurant we were going to dine in and helped us to contact with the shuttle car driver within a very short time.
The shuttle car driver took us directly to the Locavore restaurant. And told us to walk to the Ubud Palace to wait for the return shuttle car before 10:00pm. We didn't use the return shuttle car service since we dined late that night. But still, bravo for the free shuttle car service !
The pool in front of our house was small but beautiful and fun to swim in. And the garden view was special to experience.
They provide shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, disposable toothbrush, shaver & shave gel, comb, cotton buds and soap. The villa provide 8 cans of beverages and 2 bottles of water for free. I couldn't praise more.
We enjoyed a good view and nice service during breakfast.
The housekeeper delivers one free English newspaper(The Jakarta Post) every morning.
We didn't have time to enjoy the public pool due to our tight schedule.
Definitely will recommend Dwaraka to my blog viewers and my friends if they will stay at Ubud.

Our 2nd stay at Dwaraka Royal Villas and we absolutely loved it - again! This hotel is a stunningly beautiful and unique tranquil haven just outside Ubud center. It is very lush, with lots of blooming trees and plants. The villas are tucked in the garden (many steps) in tiny alleys, above the rice Fields beneath- it is a truly amazing location! The villas are SO, so beautiful, We almost felt like royalty staying there and didn’t want to leave! We stayed 5 nights, but could easily have stayed a whole week (because there are so many things do see around and in Ubud). The villas have very class interior decoration, big sliding Doors to the terrace, spacious wardrobes, big bathroom, sofa, desk etc. We stayed in a private pool villa, which was to dream for!! A fairly big pool with a fountain and stairs to dit on. Big terrace with sitting chakra, a table (you can order breakfast to your villa/room ;) and two lounge beds. Lovely view over the rice Fields. The bed is comfy, with soft 1st class linen and pillows. The villa has an outdoor bathtub, outdoor + indoor shower + shower by the pool. No less than 5 statues in the garden! Hand Carved front door with beautiful, traditional ornaments. This hotel shows attention to detail in every detail and aspect, which shows how much they care for their guests. They sim to exceed your expectations. Uppnår arrival we were given a blissful free foot massage. The breakfast is something else; a bountiful choice of both Asian/Balinese delicacies, everything so beautifully cooked and presented - and unlimited! Fresh fruit juices and super good coffee. All staff are absolutely lovely, with serene smileys and always eager to serve. They helped us book boat transfers etc. Their free shuttle service to Ubud centre is excellent and it only takes give minutes. We recommend Dwaraka Royal Villas with all our heart and we will definately come back a third time in the figure!

Great experience and the perfect place to stay. We arranged to be picked up by a hotel shuttle which worked out very nicely. We were warmly greeted at the hotel with a welcome drink, then taken to our room to show all the facilities. We had a balcony overlooking th epool and gardens with a small table and chairs and a chaise. The room had coffee, tea, water kettle, fresh fruit, cookies and a water tank with filtered drinking water. There was an insect repellent to plug in an outlet and spray for us to use. The bathroom was amazing with a rainfall shower and separate stone bathtub. All bathroom amenites such as soap and shampoo were in charming ceramic bottles.
We took advantage of the foot message at the spa which was wonderful! Breakfast was in a beautiful restaurant overlooking the garden. There were traditional breakfast choices as well as Indonesian specialities which we enjoyed. The menu was large and we could order as much as we wanted. In the afternoons there was a traditional tea with Indonesian cakes.
Everyone at the hotel was polite, friendly and helpful. Most spoke English well. There was a free shuttle to the palace every 2 hours which we used, but for a small fee we could also arrange another time.
The stairs were a bit challenging for me. There is no handrail for support. Very quiet and peaceful. We could not have enjoyed ourselves more. Would love to return!

We had a fabulous time at Dwaraka. The place is stunning — beautiful, lush, tropical grounds; two lovely pools; a nice, spacious, comfortable room; good food... and incredibly nice, friendly staff. We would absolutely stay here again. The only downside is that the extras (like airport pickup) are overpriced compared to what you would pay with just a little shopping around.

Very welcoming, spacious room, great drop off and pick up service. Quite central, just enough to stay away from the centre of Ubud...2 minutes in a car but I wouldn’t walk, to humid. Only thing for me that let the room down was the beds and pillows were too hard. Great was the fridge was daily stocked with small cans of pop which you didn’t pay for.

After staying at this hotel in summer we couldn't help but stay here once again. Dwaraka Royal Villas delivering top quality hospitality with very friendly and helpful staff, all sort of services such as relaxing massage, free comfortable shuttle to Ubud, delicious afternoon tea and overall atmosphere of relaxation bringing complete peace of mind and body. We really appreciate hotel representatives as they were very kind to upgrade our room to villa with private pool to make fabulous flower pool and floating afternoon tea on our request. I'm quite convinced you will love this place puting you into true Balinese setting, caring staff surrounding you and incredible food delivered by Yashoda Kitchen.

This may well be the most beautiful boutique hotel in Bali. Our villa was called “Vaikunta”, which we were told is the heavenly palace of Dewa Wisnu. “Heavenly” and “palatial” sounds about right - see attached photos. The villa had a private courtyard & pool, overlooking rice terraces. On our first day, we were taken to a purification ceremony at Pura Tirta Sudamala by hotel tour guide Wayan Gin - a great guy, with a vast knowledge of local culture & history. At night we sat in the courtyard, listening to frogs & watching fireflies. The staff were all wonderful. The restaurant was top class too. I wish we were still there! Will definitely visit again next year.

Where do I even begin, what a lovely lovely place. We reached Bali one day earlier and they were so very kind in giving us a room to stay before we go to the room we actually booked for in the last minute. The staffs the ambience the rooms and the spa was just magical to begin with. We enjoyed our seven days stay in this beautiful hotel.
Our villa was just gorgeous.we stayed in rice field view pool villa. It was spectacular. Our villa was huge. We had such a great time. The breakfasts were so delicious. Only one thing to tell them that they can improve on their menu for breakfast. Only that. The rest was magical. Villa was cleaned every day, they offer free shuttle services, they r so kind and every day when we return back to our hotel the warm greeting is them saying “ welcome home” is just so precious. They also gave us breakfast box when we asked them as we where having a early day trip to Nusa penida. Packed them so perfectly and they gave us so much that we were so full throughout.

The restaurant music, friendly people ready to help you in every way, makes me miss them very very much.
The staffs were wonderful, their warm smiles is still fresh in my memory. Thank you Dwaraka. You are home away from home. Can’t wait to come back and stay with you guys. Missing you already. Can’t wait to return.

Love

This place is absolutely amazing. We stayed here for 4 days and i was impressed. The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated with a very big bathroom. I love that there were no insects or any orher creatures that could come into the room or bathroom. It was the perfect place to relax. We had our own pool and outdoor space for lounging and swimming. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food is great too and you can always have the breakfast in your room by the pool. They also have a free shuttle bus that can take you to Ubud center in 10 minutes. This place gives you the privacy, comfort and mindfulness that you need.
