Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Hidden down a secluded laneway between the river and the rice fields, Temuku is not the easiest place to find. But once you settle in you will be amazed at it’s peacefulness. The villas are clean, well appointed and spacious with a private pool, and set amongst a beautiful Balinese garden. The staff are just amazing and the breakfast (included) is delicious although the coffee was average. Be aware that the villas are located down a narrow path and a 10 min walk from the Main Street but they offer a 24hr buggy pick up service. We hired a scooter from reception for $10 a day so we had no issues with transport. If you’re looking for something quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud town, then highly recommended as it’s only a short drive into the centre.

From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The accommodation and exceptional service made my stay truly memorable. The reception staff were attentive and courteous, as well as restaurant employees.
It was my birthday while I stayed in Temuku Villas and they surprised me with beautifully decorated room, little cake and a flower bath!! It just made my day!! :-)
Leni and Eka in the spa gave me some of the best treatments I have ever had.
I highly recommend Temuku Villas!!

Lovely mid range villas, that all have a private pool. Good cocktail specials. Very peaceful and quiet place to sleep for a good price.

Is a little far from from the main town and attraction so you will need to rent a bike or rely on car services. Bathroom was outside, so had to be careful to close the toilet to avoid bugs, frogs and lizards getting in.

Service and cleanliness is that of a 4 star hotel, fine but not pristine. Would stay again for the pool!

They said the buggy is 24 hours, but when we came back from New Year’s party we couldnt contact the concierge at all. Tried at least 20 times with the phone they gave us. Had to walk back in the dark from the car park and it is quite far from the main road. When we got to the hotel, noone was even on standby in the office.

No hot water in our room and the bathroom was leaking. Left my shirt in the room but when I called after, they straight away said no shirt without checking.
Breakfast and view from our room was good.

Had high hopes but unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for 4 nights. The resort has just 10 villas; it has authentic kampong feel since it’s part of a community. So if you don’t like chicken making noise in the morning, don’t come here. Villas are small, functional and non-fancy. The pool and garden is also smaller in comparison to other private pool villas in Ubud. But the price is reasonable in comparison to those pretentious places nearby. Food is good and reasonably priced. The only reason why I can’t give a 5* rating here is the spa which was well below the average standard of spas in Bali.

Went there for our honeymoon and stayed there for three nights, absolutely beautiful Villas hidden in the lap of nature in Ubud. Out of the 10 days we were in Bali had the most enjoyable stay at Temuku .
Loved the food and the staff was the most courteous in all of Bali.
Must stay for anybody who's in Ubud and you'll never want to leave.

Nice place, however kind of pricy .. if you are perfectionist then you might not like it..

The pool is small and COLD

The shuttle service to market has gap between 5-10 pm which is disappointing

SPA is awesome :)

The stuff is extremely nice and friendly.. THANK YOU for the outstanding service

Staffs were friendly but the cleanliness of the room and pool needs to improve. Do contact the hotel beforehand to arrange for a buggy to wait for you at the entrance of the road as it needs 5 to 10 mins walk to the villa lobby. However, the spa was excellent.

Stunning Villas. We had a rice field view room and it was beautiful and private..the photos do not do justice to how stunning the rooms really are. We loved the outdoor bathroom and the pool. The rooms are so nice that you want to make the most of them and stay at the resort as much as possible. The staff are lovely and the food great with lots of options. We stayed for three nights and had a massage at the spa each day... I highly recommend the spa the ladies working there are very skilled and professional. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to ubud.

We booked 3 villas and each villa facing the beautiful green paddy field and we could see the mountain from far.

The staff is very helpful and we were welcome by many friendly faces esp. Feri...he is very funny and thanks for everything!

The villa is very spacious, we had daily breakfast in room plus dinner and it was all good. The laundry service is nice too..it was fast!

The only thing is that it is a little difficult to find the way in for the first time. No car can access to the villa and there is no grand entrance but they had a nice buggy ride or they call it green ferrari which will bring you to the villa whenever you need it.

There are scooters available for rental. I think the price is about idr100k.

Hope temuku will maintain this service level! Because i love it!
