This place is lovely and very close to all main attractions in the Dead Sea. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Very clean and offers a wonderful breakfast. It's also located next door to the nature reserve where you can hike and refresh in the stream on the hot summer days!

The Good The private room was more like a budget hotel than a hostel - toiletries, tea and coffee set, clean towels. We had a balcony and a view of the Dead Sea - lovely! It was a five min walk to the Ein Gedi national park, so very convenient in this regard. Most of the staff were very nice... More

You can't get there from here. The only place you can get to the Dead Sea from Ein Gedi is at Ein Bokek a half hour drive from the hostel. The roads have fences that keep you out. You must have a car to stay here. Check in is 3PM earliest and no wavering on this rule. The hotels in... More

We booked for one night. Our accommodation was in the new block and was spacious and immaculate. Large bedroom with wifi, efficient aircon, tea/coffee facilities, towels provided. Large bathroom with shower. We were late for breakfast as we’d been up Masada for the sunrise, but there was plenty of choice left. Breads, boiled and scrambled eggs, cheese, yogurts, cake, many... The room was great. Staff ok. Unlike Masadas youth hostel, they don't have a shop where you can buy basics like coffee, milk, biscuits etc. The breakfast was BAD. No hot food like scrambled eggs or French toast like Masada provide. Salads non existent. Cold hard boiled eggs were on the hot food trolley and that was it. Stayed there... More

The people here were not nice and kicked us out of the lobby. If anyone has the balls to confront the security guard on my behalf, please do it. Also, the guy who worked in the kitchen was not nice and doubted our authenticity. The hostel itself is alright, but the employees suck.

I called to book a room the day before arriving in the hostel, specifying we wouldn't be there before 10pm the following day. The girl on the phone said that was ok. When we got there the following day at 10.20pm the reception room was empty. When I called the number on display, a man told me that it was... More

As others have alluded to, Facilities are pretty bare bones around here. However, the location is fantastic, the views are spectacular and the rooms are comfortable. The staff was not that friendly or helpful to us. Our refrigerator did not work and it took three visits to reception and a disgruntled maintenance worker trying to convince us that it was... More

Great views from the balcony. The room has 5 single beds. It is simple, but clean, but the toilet was not working. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was basic and no dinner, we needed to go the the ein gedi hotel to have dinner. There was parking, it was safe and mostly quiet. The Hostel was quite as no... More

Pros: Great location near the park entrance and 10 min walking to the beach. Room with sea view and terrace. Separate doors to toilet and shower room, so different people can use them simultaneously. Good buffet breakfast. Free storage room. Good free Wi Fi. Cons: Dormitory room was like double room but with 5 beds, with all of them occupied... More
