I'm from NY so I remember the "Concord" & upstate NY bungalow colonies where families would go on mass for weekends in the country to escape the city. Ein Gedi hotel is that & more. There are the mountains behind & the sea below at every turn, so close you can touch them. The Dead Sea is below the "over...

The scenery is breathtaking and the botanical gardens are very nice. Food is more than ok with good service (half board option). The rooms (standard) are quite expensive and VERY shabby. Not clean enough and not well maintained. I expect much more for that price.

We stayed 5 nights for business (3 nights) and family gathering (2 nights). The environment is spectacular and the hotel fits it. The service is personal, cooperative and making an effort to satisfy). The food id very good and the spa is of high quality. Even the Kibbutz excellent swimming pool is available for guests. Highly recommended.

Ein gedi spa hotel is the best decision i could have made during the trip I organised for me and my girlfriend that came for a visit all the way from China. The room is great, small and comfy with everything inside including bucket full of coffee and tea and loads of shampoo, creams and such in the bathroom. Our...

The hotel complex consists out of a large number of one and two stories villa's that are build in a time period of 10-20 years. Hotel rooms starting with 5.. are rather new and have a great view of the mountains. Rooms starting with 3.. are older and located in the inner circle and have a garden view. The quality...

Its not the first time we have been there and we really feel that the standard, the quality, the care/motivation of the staff is not anymore as it used to be. The price has no relation to what you get - way overpriced! The mobile and wifi reception is poor in most areas. Even the fantastic location and the surrounding...

As I have three young children, I prefer this style of hotel to a highrise. In the morning I can simply open the balcony and let the children play in the garden. The place is not as luxurious as a 5 star hotel but it has a very cozy feeling to it. The food in the dining hall is very...

The kibbutz is great, and can handle big groups easily, even during the holidays. They offer tours of the botanical gardens, which hold some very rare specimens. I don't know if there are multiple tour guides, though. Ours was very robotic, with a monotone voice and very opinionated. They also offer stargazing opportunities, but the night we did it, the...

Ein Gedi has upgraded their superior rooms . The rooms are beautifully decorated , comfortable and clean. The breakfast was quite varied and tasty. As there aren't many restaurants nearby we ate supper in their lounge. The food was acceptable and reasonably priced. as part of the package we were given free tickets to the Ein Gedi Spa and entrance...
