Wonderful hotel with beautiful lobby/bar. The breakfast was fine and the room was super clean. Great retro vibe but absolutely modern. Big enough room for a baby playpen in the corner. Offered a nice outdoor shaded area for families to eat etc.

Friendly staff, great room, good breakfast, good beds and air conditioners. I would recommend staying here. I will the next time I am in Town. The hotel was full but the staff were friendly and helpful at all times.

A link on movie locations states that the original Hotel Artesia used in The Man who fell to Earth is no longer there but the railway station is. This current hotel may be built on the original site.

We offer guests complimentary use of the nearby Artesia Racquet and Health Club which features 24-hour access to a swim-against-the-current exercise pool. We do not have a pool on site at the hotel.
