The rooms are beautiful, the host prepared delicious healthy meals and was very gracious. Centrally placed , a short walk to synagogues in the old city, the mikveh and restaurants. There were mosquitos this time of year so bring repellent.

If you drive in the old city on Shabbat, you won't be stoned but you will be glared at. I did arrive during Shabbat, and it was uncomfortable. Parking is VERY limited. If you arrive on Shabbat, Danny will greet you, but he and wife are Shabbat observant, so expect nothing more. Make sure to have food with you. Your hosts put out a fruit bowl and a bowl of Candy. Stores are closed, restaurants are closed though some open after sundown.
