A charming boutique hotel that has improved over the years. Sitting on a hilltop in the city of Safed, with beautiful views of the Western Galilee, and close to many historical, Jewish, and nature sites. We went to the old city of Safed to the artist colony, visited two nature reserves with beautiful waterfalls, visited the Hula Valley reserve and...

We picked this hotel for its location and reviews. The room was awfully small! So small there was not even a chair in the room and the door opened to the bed! No privacy when opening the door. We were close to the lobby and the noise level on Friday night was very high. Bathrobes were too small for average...

What was great: The friendly staff, the French ambiance, the view, breakfast, the hotel grounds. The rooms were ok, bath/shower a bit small and in need of refurbishing. Overall, the experience was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay there. Recommended.

Expecting a boutique experience as advertised, I was disappointed. When entering - general ambience and decor are quite nice, but as time went by so did my appreciation. Restaurant very mediocre: we were a party of 8 and more than half of the meals at dinner were returned for different reasons; service very poor, staff not knowledgeable and apparently did...

This is NOT a fancy hotel. This is a charming magical place with amazing views of Tzfat. This is a small boutique hotel with large rooms outfitted with antique furniture, yet modern accommodations such as flat screen tv's, normal beds, and charming black and white tiled bathrooms. When they post King size beds, it really is a King sized bed....

I paraphrase: "Roasted chicken breast served on a bed of wild rice and root vegetables". When a hunk of undercooked chicken eventually appeared on a small mound of rice (no sign of the vegetables) it was barely warm, and inedible. We sent it back. This is only one portion from a celebratory meal we were having with my 80 year...

Party of eight adults and 5 children. Order was quickly and efficiently taken and we barely had time to eat the bread and dried tomato and olive spreads that were served while we waited. The children were served very quickly which made the rather brief wait for the adults, to be served, quite pleasant.
