We only spent one night here, but this small guest house had a nice family suite with a separate bedroom with bunk beds for the kids. The owner is always nearby to help out with any questions. He called the train station to find out train times and called two tuk-tuks to take us there on our departure. Ideally located...

This is more of a guest house than a hotel. We(4 of us) took a family room which consisted of 2 adjoining rooms with 1 attached washroom which had issues with water pressure. Also only one of the rooms had AC. Though there is a kitchen downstairs, it is not really maintained well. Overall it was an OK experience. Could...

I stayed here for just one night, in the room with balcony. The bathroom and room were clean. There was airco. In the street you have several nice places for eating. There are just a few rooms, not all have windows.

Location, location, location! For being galle, this is a cheap accommodation. We booked two nights. We booked both nights in the room behind the reception. It was simple but clean. It had a mosquito net and a fan. It did have windows facing the indoor common areas. The building is actually two buildings really close together. They have really done...

We stayed 2nights in the bedroom on the first floor which had a nice balcony with view on the street. Room has a/c and fan as well as a private bathroom. The good breakfast is served in the lobby of the guest house which is nicely decorated. The owner is really friendly and amazingly friendly and helpful with insights on...

Good: location, right in the middle of Galle. Cheap price. Has rooms that accommodate a family with 2 kids. Nice cold air con plus fans. Negatives: room had no windows to the outside. Giant monkeys played chase all over the roof all night (sounded like they were in the room). Pillows were lumpy. They include breakfast but only have space...

Basic room, but clean and plenty of room with nice bathroom. Very helpful owner. Slightly pricey but is in the old fort area so you pay for the location. Only a fan, would have liked air con. Would recommend and would stay again myself.

We booked this based on reviews on tripadvisor and booking.com. Granted the location is good, but that's were the good points ended for us. We were in room 1, right by reception. The room smelt of damp and so did the sheets. There were no outside facing Windows, and the blinds on the inside facing Windows did nothing to block...

(The ratings apply to the related accommodation) This jewellery store is a sister business to Pedlar's Inn, Pedlars's Inn Cafe and Pedlar's Inn Gelato. Sifath is the affable young man who runs this aspect of the business. He is fluent in English and completely honest. The jewellery with either Precious or Semi-Precious stones is authentic and fairly priced. Tell him...

Having read so many bad reviews of places in galle fort and reading good reviews of this place we booked it direct with the owner and weren't disappointed. This is a lovely little place in the fort, near the lighthouse and mosque. We had a downstairs room as the balcony one was full and we liked it. Nicely decorated, good...
